Responsible for the maintenance of Fleet of 440 buses which included both school bus and commercial application.
Daily maintenance coordination with 15+ Key Vendors such as AL Futtaim (Coaster + Volare), Gargash Enterprises (MCV), Al Naboodah (Ashok Leyland & Maxus), KHF automotive (Higer)…etc
Responsible for maintaining the KPI such as Availability, Preventive /periodic maintenance planning and implementation, Accident repair by coordinating with insurance, Tyre maintenance, Daily breakdown follow up, Vehicles registration and Fleet insurance maintaining .
Responsible for Maintenance for ITS and safety equipment’s in the vehicle.
Responsible for Job card processing and Closure, Supplier estimate approval &Suppler invoice approval with respect to the contracts.
Support in Supplier contract creation and Controlling, Support in Tender preparation, Technical proposal creation and Evaluation.
Responsible for the Feasibility study, implementation strategy and cost analysis for new system/ project for reducing the maintenance cost and increase Quality.
Modifications of the fleets based on the customer requirement by coordinating with Vendors
• Al Naboodah, Swaidan trading is the sole distributer of ASHOK LEYLAND, DAF, SUNWIN, PEGIOT, GREAT WALL, MAXUS, HAVAL brand and many more heavy equipment brand in the UAE.
• Working as a coordinator With DUBAI TAXI CORPORATION, by controlling the maintenance activities including maintenance check-up scheduling, Service planning, technician dispatching, breakdown handling & ensuring all safety procedures for a fleet of ASHOK LEYLAND school buses.
• Worked as a coordinator with EMIRATES TRANPORTS by controlling the maintenance activates for the fleet of 700 SUNWIN buses in different emirates (Dubai, Sharjah, and Ajman & Umm al Quwain).
Reporting direct to the Workshop Manager.
Responsible for the operation, preventive maintenance and repair of all vehicles assigned to me by the company. Consist of Heavy duty trucks with trailers (VOLVO & MERCEDEZ), Forklifts (Caterpillar) up to 15 tones, excavator (JCB), Compressors & Generators.
Analyze failure, determine problems and Causes; recommend solutions.
Experienced in Mechanical trouble shooting for engines, brake systems & hydraulic systems.
Experienced in computerised engine calibration and wheel alignment by using JALTEST & JOSAM software’s.
Responsible for the allocation of work to a team having 2 foreman and 50 technicians including denters, welders & painters. Ensuring the technicians are fully utilized to improve the productive hours during operational hours.
Ensure that all Warranty work carried out complies with Manufacturers terms and conditions.
Co-ordinate Workshop staff training plan with the Training Manager, internal & extern
Monitoring Job cards, Assist to service Advisors to write and understand drivers complaint clearly as technicians understand .
Arranging the required spare parts by coordinating with parts department.
Test drive vehicles after completion of work when necessary, to monitor quality control.
Be responsible for general order & cleanliness in the Workshop. Ensure that tools, special tools, equipment and Workshop literature are complete and up to date.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Operation and Maintenance of Cummins Engines with various applications such as Generators, Compressors, marine engines, Locomotive engines, Fire pump & Cranes.
• Experienced in Overhauling, troubleshooting, preventive, and periodic& Breakdown Maintenance of Engines.
• Experienced in Cummins Engine models ( X1.7G1, X2.5G2/G1, S3.8G3/G4/G6/G7, B series, C series, N series ( N/NT/NTA495, NT/NTA743, NTA14G3, NTA855G2-1), K series ( KTA1150, KTA19G9, KTA 38G2-1/G5/, KTA 50 G3, QSK 60G3 ), V series ( VT/VTA 1710, VTA 28G3-1/G5-1 )
• Experienced in PCC (0301, 1301, and 1302), POWERCOM, and PSO500.
• Identifying and ordering the required spare parts with part number or specification.
• Collecting the required materials, spares and equipments from the local store.
• Experienced in Alternator alignment, Overhauling and Trouble shooting.
• Experienced in Stamford Alternator and AVR systems.
• Operation and Maintenance of Cummins engine with COMPRESSORS (Atlas Copco, ELGI, Doosan, IR, and Kirlosker), LOCOMOTIVE and SHIP/BOAT (Drive Engine & DG) applications.
• Collecting the information from various CUMMINS website like QSOL, E-catalogue, Information portal
and software calibration with INSITE.
• Experience in latest Software C-DOS (Cummins Dealer Operating System).
