• Responsible for the overall management of the yard and stores for Medco. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the scheduling, ordering, repair, maintenance and disbursement of heavy equipment, machinery, supplies and the logistics of several dredging components needed for the dredgers and dredge pipelines and other auxiliary services.
• Perform selected office facility maintenance and is responsible for the upkeep & maintenance of the Yard, parking areas, and buildings.
• Maintain the schedule & delivery of all Medco and subcontractors owned or rented equipment, tools, and supplies to and from jobsites including loading equipment, tools and materials onto trucks and delivering them to each of our jobsites.
• Arrange for the repair of equipment and tools as needed by outside vendors.
• Manages yard personnel as assigned.
• Performs weekly & monthly inventory reports and analysis of usage.
• Provide and ensure a maintenance plan for all tools and equipment.
• Maintain yard inventory.

• Controlling purchasing activities including researching, identifying, and evaluating vendors for pricing and quality.
• Documenting all purchasing decisions and completing purchase orders.
• Monitor the issue of material requisitions within required dates.
• Developing control measures to avoid material outages, over-withdrawal of materials, unnecessary wastage, and over-ordering of materials.
• Presenting reports (tracking system to report all deliveries).
• Follow-up on materials transactions, stock checking and inventory control.
• Managing Sites stores.
• Supervising a group of storekeepers and Store Helpers.
• Assigning work to staff and reviewing completed work.
• Arrange quotations as per company policy for all materials (specially construction) for each project.
• Developing control measures to avoid material outages, over-withdrawal of materials, unnecessary wastage and over-ordering of materials.
• Coordinating with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure delivery of materials.
• Estimating materials, assisting in purchase requisitions and follow-up on purchase orders.
