National Irrigation Systems is a state owned trade company dealing in irrigation for agriculture. The company is a subsidiary of the Ministry of Agriculture. Among its main objectives are: water supply to national irrigation of strategic importance (i.e. dams, water and irrigation systems); industrial water sales to state and private customers and dam management. As a Central Bulgarian Region Senior Manager I manage a department of 100 company employees and I am responsible for the operations control of: • Irrigation Fund’s management, financial controlling, operations, maintenance, expansion, investment, research and engineering design • Industrial water supply and sales (domestic and international) • Water supply system management and maintenance • Major water supply security • Water and environment preservation projects • Construction and maintenance of water and sewer networks • Involved in Coordinating projects from inception to completion

Duties and responsibilities:
• Managing the organization, its technology, intellectual property, employees and partner relations
• Responsible for all financial aspects of the business
• Developing business strategies and taking initiatives to expand the company
• Developing and implementing short-term and long-term technology strategies and providing direct strategic technical solutions
• Managing operations, allocating resources and ensuring the appropriate use of technology
• Supervising the performance and the quality of the products and services
• Ensuring that relevant management information is captured and analyzed for the New Projects
• Responsible for handling the projects finances and resolving any financial queries that are raised
• Identify, analyze, prioritize, mitigate and communicate project risks

• Establishing partnerships with companies whose personnel is sent to work for European contractors
• Paperwork processing
• Pre-leaving training for departing employees
Compile/edit documents, briefing papers, reports and presentations, monthly reports, monitoring targets and team review.
