This role involved delivering key aspects of the SAP AMI enablement project for ESB Networks. Including but not limited to the following activities /roles.
• Managing and coordinating analysis, design, development, and testing of new AMI functionalities in SAP ISU.
• Participating in design workshops working in tandem with the solution architects on the project.
• Advising the client on SAP best practice approaches in key technical areas.
• Responsible for synchronizing the master data objects with the metering data management system (MDMS) and driving forward the cutover approach for these objects.
• Responsible for any enhancements relating to the replication of the master data objects.
• The configuration to enable the advanced metering capabilities for devices within SAP ISU
• Creation of a new custom process to support market processes when requesting new device configurations from the metering data management system (MDMS)
• Design and implementation around support processes relating to the new interface between SAP ISU and the MDMS.
Design, development, configuration and testing of key aspects of the CRM territory management and service request management solution. Advising the client on SAP best practice approaches in key technical areas.
Validating key design documents and making recommendations on the best practice approaches to meet business requirements
Design and configuring various aspects of the ISU billing solution. Advising the client on SAP best practice approaches in key technical areas. Involved in process improvement initiatives across all areas.
Go-Live Support.
As well as managing and coordinating analysis, design, development and testing of key aspects of the entire CRM and ISU design my duties also included participating in Design Authority activities. Advising the client on SAP best practice approaches in key technical areas. Co-ordinating and running multi-team integration workshops. Validating key design documents and making recommendations on the best practice approaches to meet business requirements. Central to this role was integrating the current device management and ISU work management solutions with CRM7. I was responsible for the enhancement and optimization and replication of all technical master data objects as well as the business partner object per customer requirements.
The role required me to assist AIB in the documentation of CRM 7 functionality, analyze the current issues within the system and propose possible solutions Go-Live Support.
