Site Project - P246 SALWA Beach Resort Project
Project Description
Salwa beach resort project is a new massive waterfront resort roughly 100km outside of Doha, composed of more than a hundred of room resort and sports amenities, approximately 15 minutes away from Saudi Arabian border.
Scope of Work
• Building a high quality of construction on a much larger scale and be the biggest of its kind in the Middle East such as Villas, Hotel, Sports Center, Malls, Water Parks and other amenities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Evaluate the workplace environment and develop safety-management policies that identify and define the safety responsibilities of all employees. This involves assessing the nature of business activities, number of employees and existing policies.
• Responsible for establishing policies that will create and maintain a safe workplace.
• Have excellent attention to detail to identify hazards
• Ensure the workplace meets all legal expectations and actively supports occupational health and safe
• Responsible for the encouragement, regulation and enforcement of workplace health, safety and welfare
• Providing assistance in the implementation of Health Safety and Environment programs for the company, client, workers and visitors.
• Site inspection and audits.
•Prepare Risk assessment analysis as per Methodology of work.
• Ensure all unsafe condition and practices have been eliminated in the workplace.
• Conduct health, safety and environmental training to broaden employee’s awareness in
the importance of care to environment as well as health & safety of all workers.
• Ensure all safety issues have been discussed during safety toolbox talk given to all
operatives including simulation or mock drill.
• Liaise with top management and client safety walk down on site and suggest
recommendation and rectification for the unsafe findings on the site.
• Represent company on a client/contractors HSE monthly/weekly meeting.
• Provide monthly HSE report to be submitted to client.
• Conduct accident/incident investigation, root cause analysis and give recommendation to
prevent recurrence of the accident/incident.
• Ensure that all work method statement has been followed on site.
• Ensure all control measures have been complied at all times.
• Keeps and maintain records of all accident/incident, preventive/corrective measures for
consolidation of trend analysis.
• Assist with medical and security issues.
• Ensure good housekeeping and proper waste disposal has been implemented.
• Management and supervision of sub-contractors.
• Ensure that all legal environmental compliance has been reported and submitted to client
and ministry of environment.
Render Technical Services for DILG CALABARZON
• Assist in the implementation and monitoring of the following DILG Special Programs and Projects, to wit:
1. SALINTUBIG 2012 & 2013;
2. Performance Challenge Fund (PCF) 2012
3. PAMANA Projects;
4. Bottom UP Planning and Budgeting (BUPB) Salintubig 2013 & 2014;
5. Local Government Support Fund
6. Special Local Road Fund
7. Other DILG Special Programs and Projects as may be accorded to DILG CALABARZON
• Coordinate with other participating agencies and concerned CSOs regarding the above-
mentioned programs and projects
• Perform other related functions/task as may be directed by higher authorities.
The project consists of 4 underground high-class Car Parks including circa 550 places capacity each on their 3 story basements, 3 Electrical Substations and 1 Telecom Exchange.
Each car park is approximately 250 m long, 45 m wide and 13 m deep.

The Project is part of the overall Lusail project being developed by LREDC to create a new city of 200, 000 people on 35km2 land north of Doha.
---Utility Tunnels (QDVC Lusail Carparks)
The Project is part of the overall Lusail project linked to underground Carparks for electrical cable lines of substation and also water pipelines.
