JOB DESCRIPTION: 1. Assists individual patient's needs for nursing.
2. Assists the patient in identifying her needs for medical assistance, self-help and rehabilitation.
3. Observes symptoms and reactions including sympatomatology of physical and mental condition.
4. Plans nursing care appropriate for the patient involving the patient, his/her family and nursing assistants.
5. Joins the health team, the physicians, other nurses, special workers, nutritionists, medical technicians and other professional workers in developing the total care plan for the patient.
6. Encourages the patient to accept modifications of his/her normal pattern of living imposed by chronic illness or permanent incapacity.
7. Interprets as practicable to the patient and his/her family the overall care program, which has been developed for him/her.
8. Applies nursing measures and techniques pertinent to medical diagnosis and therapy of the patient.
9. Executes legal order of the physician concerning treatment and medication.
10. Records and reports facts about patients, including evaluation of the whole case.
