•Feed water pumps, Deaerators, Cooling water system, Instrument Air and Service Air Compressors and Dryers, Nitrogen distrubituion system, Steam Condensors, Chemical dosing system, Steam Export and Condensate Import system, Steam Header Pressure Control system and Fuel Gas control system.
•Multi Stage Flash Evaporator’s, Reminerlization plant, Sea Water Pump House and Chlorination System.
I have experience to start up, control, monitor and shut down all these equipment. I had successfully handled many emergency situvations in Plant Operation. I was involved in New Plant commissioning activities.
I joined Wood Group as a Power Plant Operator. This is a Gas Turbine project operated by Wood Group Power System, Scotland, UK, at Ceylon Electricity Board grid substation Pannipitiya, Sri Lanka. Two G.E.C. EAS 1 Mobile Gas Turbine sets. Each capacity 10 MW. I was involved in Gas Turbine operation. Unit start up, control, monitor, shut down activities. Also involved in maintain fuel system with storage tanks, operate diesel centrifuge system, recording information and general maintenance work.
State Fertilizer Manufacturing Corporation River Water Treatment Plant take over by this company. I was transferred to this company as a Plant Operator and work in Water Treatment plant.
This is a Romanian origin Truck assembly project by Auto Export Import Company (Romania) & United Moters Sri Lanka Limited. I was involved in trucks assemble and repair jobs with Romanian Engineers.
