Started as Safety Officer and performed on worlds biggest clock tower (Makkah Clock Tower) in the holy city of Makkah.
Performed with a team of 12 safety personnel and inspected & maintained fire extinguishers, exit signs, exit stairs, Carbon Mono oxide sensors, MCPs and reported faults
Developed 8 different checklists for inspection of different equipment
Supervised 100 work permits including hot work, work at height, confined space entry.
Delivered more than 300 tool box talks and safety meetings
Performed as active member of safety committee for preparation of safety & security policy.
Promoted as Technical Inspector (Safety) and transferred to Head Office in February 2012 and worked with Safety & Security Consultant and assisted him on following matters: -
Inspected 6 ongoing projects and carried out hazard identification report.
Prepared scope of work proposals including department structure, job descriptions, policy & procedures for 3 different projects
Conducted camp hygiene inspection of 3 employee camps with a capacity of 5000 employees.
Inspecting and maintaining firefighting equipment on monthly basis with a team of 2 safety wardens at head office
Co-ordinated 3 internal audits with one objection free audit.
Prepared Training calendar for the safety department consisting in house and external trainings.
Provided orientation / induction training to 45 newly hired employees.
Updated Safety Manual for the year 2013 and added a chapter of Lone working.
Maintaining record of all the activities in Safety Department.
Prepared 7 different trainings on safety issues for our own workforce with a team of 2 members. Trainings include Fire Preventions and Basic Fire Fighting, Personal Protective Equipment, Chemical Handling & Hazardous Materials, Manual & Mechanical Handling etc.
Worked as trainee officer and performed at Crude Oil Decanting Plant Khaur.
Performed inspections of safety equipment installed in decanting plant, head office and drilling facility.
Assisted in issuing hot work permits and work at height in the plant
Completed the certification with 80 % aggregate in first attempt.
Qualified for safety auditor by acquiring this certification.
