As the maintenance Leader, I lead and manage the maintenance executing teams in aromatics, utilities and the terminal facilities. A total of 20 individuals report to me, divided in three groups, where each is led by a maintenance supervisor and comprised of senior and junior technicians, as well as maintenance engineers. My tasks involve the following:

- In charge of the maintenance execution in the assigned plants
- Prepare and manage the maintenance budget of the assigned plats
- Control the maintenance KPIs of the assigned plants
- Lead the maintenance groups and oversee their performance in safety, quality
- Lead various initiatives to improve the plants reliability and performance as assigned by the Reliability or Maintenance General mangers
- Set up the team development plans and oversee their progress.
- Part of the SASREF Plant Integrity and Reliability Team as the maintenance leader.
- Leader of all unplanned S/D in the assigned area, and core team member of the turnaround team

Reliability Lead Engineer – Defect Elimination dept. à SASREF

Execute the overall Defect Elimination Process to analyze adverse events, identify causal factors, and coordinate action plans to eliminate or reduce the adverse effects of the causal factors, involving the following tasks:

- Determine and implement correct RCFA methodology according to predetermined criteria.
- Include required participants in Team Investigations
- Conduct Investigations according to Sasref methodology for all I&R incidents
- Review findings with Investigation Team and report findings and conclusions with Defect Elimination Department Manager
- Work with other resources (e.g. engineering) to develop solutions
- Attend weekly SPIRIT meeting in assigned area and be the link between SPIRIT and maintenance strategies department staff.
- Facilitate threat identification workshop.
- Own bad actor process for the assigned area
- Own MTA process for the assigned area
- Review related I&R LFI from Aramco, Shell and others and modify MTA list wherever applicable.
- Provide RCA Practitioner-level training for SASREF technical staff.

Rotating Equipment Engineer - Engineering Support. à SASREF

Graduate of the Shell launchpad for Rotating equipment accelerated program, working as the technical matter expert for all rotating equipment at aromatics, utilities and oil movement facilities within SASREF, I provide technical support to operations, maintenance and projects involving, but not limited to, the following tasks:
- Provide technical advice to optimize reliability and availability of the running rotating equipment.
- Carry out and provide quality assurance inspection and maintenance advice on all rotating equipment (that includes centrifugal and multistage Recip. compressors, steam turbines, centrifugal single and multistage pumps as well as positive displacement pumps)
- Carry out troubleshooting on rotating equipment and advise on improvements and corrective actions.
- Comment on design and engineering packages of Plant Changes and new projects related to rotating equipment.
- Advise on Quality Controls for the installation, commissioning and start-up of new rotating equipment.
- Control plant condition monitoring activities and perform vibration diagnostics (certified CAT. II)
(That includes online monitoring “Bentley Nevada system 1” and offline “Emerson CSI & MHM”
- Identify plant bad actors, investigate and put a plan to resolve them where I have resolved several chronic bad actors for the refinery.
- Interact with OEMs on a regular basis to resolve plant technical issues as well as to promote and implement latest technology solutions for to resolve plant issues.
- Member of the SPIRIT team supporting day to day plant operations within my role.
- Member of the company’s PDP management team (professional development program for engineers).
