 Implement tasks associated with network / desktops including deployment, testing and assessing, contractual issues, security, user training, communications, integration controls and performing back-up’s if required.

 Support all the IT equipment’s like PC, Printers, IP phone, Fax machines, Video Conferences (Cisco WebEx, Microsoft Teams), manage and un-manage Switches, Cabling, Patch Panel, ODF etc.…

 Support network related issues, wireless Issues, network cabling and monitor network connectivity status through inter mapper.

 Configure voice and data VLANs, port security, MAC filtering, Access points and other stuffs.

 Assist in ensuring that proper control and checks are maintained for all hardware (technology specific) as well as software. This includes maintaining current inventory of all hardware installed through the fixed asset system.

 Opening tickets with ISP if any site is down and provide on-site support to vendors.

 Escalate the issue to concern teams to resolve network and hardware related issues as per SLA standards.

 Support users on desktop related queries including optimizing utilization, sharing resources and software availability.

 Update the documented guidelines/procedures for network and helpdesk activities and ensure that to be followed all the procedures.

 Maintain vendor relationship and liaise with various external service providers in ensuring that proficient service maintained.

 Perform periodic checks on all hardware installed to confirm that only approved and purchased software installed on all machines.

 Prepare and submit weekly, monthly & quarterly desktop & helpdesk progress reports to the Helpdesk Manager for review.

 Participate in installing, planning, testing and implementation of disaster recovery plans for desktop infrastructure including supported applications at local disaster recovery site.

 Assist in addressing and resolving all Helpdesk & desktop related audit comments and recommend improvised helpdesk strategies to alleviate future comments.

 Ensure that all faults reported are promptly logged in the helpdesk system and addressed in the best possible and timely manner.

 Attend training courses specified by the training department, Service Desk Manager and / Head of IT Operations.
