Configuring and implementing various network security products including Cisco ASA, Cisco IPS, VPNs, , ACS, ISE, :
- Migration of security products to Cisco ASA based networks that include ASA initial configuration, deployment and troubleshooting of all ASA platforms
- Implementing on-demand VPN configurations including site-to-site ASA VPNs, site-to-site IOS VPNs, remote access SSL VPNs, remote access IPSec VPNs using Cisco VPN client and Any-Connect and DMVPN
- Implementing and designing IPS solutions (cisco firesight and source fire module)
- Implementing new ISE 1.3/1.4 setups that include AAA features, profiling, posturing, NAC, 802.1X, MAB and fallback options to Web authentication
- Integrating AAA into the networks using ACS 5. Applying authentication via AD and per-command authorization features
Implementing Cisco wireless solutions including Unified and autonomous, mesh solutions, voice over
wireless and Cisco unified management tools like WCS, NCS, PI 1.2/2.0:
- Implementing on-site wireless site survey to estimate the number of APs needed
- Based on the requirements, a WLC and AP model is suggested and BOQ is generated
- Implementing the solution and troubleshooting and raised issues during the implementation
- Technologies include Cisco 5500/4400 WLCs, WiSMs, MSE, WCS/NCS/PI, voice over wireless and mesh solutions
Deployment of various LAN/WAN solutions:
- Implementing different routing protocols like EIGRP and OPSF to connect branch offices using Fiber and microwave connections
- Applying and tuning L2 technologies on enterprise networks including STP, VTP, Etherchannel, HSRP, GLBP, Trunking, VSS
- VLAN re-design and adopting advanced technologies like IP SLA, policy based routing, QOS and multicast
- Implementing best practices in IOS security like port security, DHCP snooping, ACLs etc…
Creating HLD/LLD Design documents for new projects starting with project requirements, detailed actions taken, improvements with the new setup and a summary of the project. Document types
include:
- NRFU (Network Ready For Use) reports
- HLD/LLD documents
- Project handover documents
- Periodic maintenance reports
On-site support for various network related issues including new implementations, troubleshooting and network-down recovery procedures. On call support for urgent issues
Assist Pre-Sales team in network design, equipment choice, purchase orders, pricing and BOQs using Cisco Commerce Workspace (CCW)
Basic administration of BIG-IP F5 load balancers,
Computers/Laptops troubleshooting.
PABX management
. Manages the day-to-day planning, operation and problem solving so that team meets it-required level of service production
Diagnosing and troubleshooting network and infrastructure issues that include the entire OSI layers.
Talking staff/clients through a series of actions, either face to face or over the telephone
Good ` communication skills.
