2011 - Current: Mechanical Supervisor (Al-Tuwairqi group of companies):
Steel Plant Company, my role is to lead a teams of technical personnel to achieve varied scales of erection and retrofitting tasks in an organized and planned manner which includes active liaising with other departments in order to complete mutual tasks and to maintain authentic records under targeted time with effective communication and understanding.
• I coordinate between utility department and site operations activities during the erection of cranes, gas piping and HVC by actively taking part in design process as well as by performing cross check of designs provided.
• I do play active role in performing the comparative analysis of proposals submitted by suppliers.
• I successfully lead technical personnel to perform various tasks safely and motivated them to perform efficiently. I also formed strong team with my senior engineer and manager.
• On daily basis I develop and maintain up-to-date and accurate record of the inspection reports, prepare purchase requests and reservations using SAP, prepare budget approval requests, job completion certificates and inspect and receive material.
• I report weekly progress and upcoming activities for crane erection and commissioning by mentioning progress in terms of tons of structure erected and tasks completed.
• I coordinate with the personnel from different departments for planning and performing mutual tasks, purchase department for payment issues and store for material receiving and quality inspection.
• Besides erection and commissioning on daily basis I also develop and maintain spare parts records for all the overhead and gantry cranes erected.
2007 - 2009: Mechanical Quality Control Engineer (Elba House Company):
Responsibilities include:
1) Making the inspection and checking samples after preparing and making ready. 2) Supervising all mechanical and electrical working and follow up them. 3) Proceeding all orders and duties of the labors and technicians. 4) writing technical reports and submit them to the factory manager to proceed the production process. 5) supervise quality control technicians, inspectors and other production personnel.
