Take leadership as Capital Planning Group Lead to:
Separate SEC into (7) companies: Holding company, Transmission company, (4) Generation companies, and
Distribution company in SAP.
Study business requirements and find the best solutions to fulfill it.
Develop business cases and SOW for RFP to implement SAP BPC & SSM applications.
Implemente all bilingual corporate planning SAP systems including Investment Management, Project System,
Controlling, Funds Management and HR-PCP, along with integrated modules PM/MM/SRM; Enhancing
Capital and Operational Planning procedures to align with SAP; Extending support to users and resolve
incident issues through SEC Competence Center
Assigned as planning team lead with NEBRAS (SEC SAP Projects):
SAP Phase-I to implement FI/CO/IM/PS/HR-PCP modules
SAP Phase-II to implement PS-Networks/PM/FM/SRM modules
Upgrade current ERP 6.0 to SAP EHP5
SEC Restructuring I to restructure SEC into HOLDCO and NGSA companies
SEC Restructuring II to restructure SEC remaining (4) Generation and (1) Distribution
Companies
BPC & SSM implementation to integrate all corporate planning processes in one platform.
My duties in above projects:
Study business requirements and find the best solutions to fulfill it.
Develop business cases and SOW for RFP to implement SAP applications.
Prepare blue print documents for configuration of SAP bilingual planning/budgeting modules
(IM/PS/CO/FM/PCP).

Review/ modify planning business processes & procedures to reduce gaps to match SAP standard settings.
Responsible for all data conversion activities, including data cleansing & mapping, data upload into SAP and
final data verification and acceptance.
Responsible for all bilingual configurations and testing.
Review bilingual training materials.
Maintain corporate planning reports utilizing report painter tool and develop HLDs and LLDs for BW
reports.
Extend support to planning modules users and resolve incident issues through SEC Competence Center.
Utilize SAP Solution Manager for SEC Competence Center documentation and resolving issues.
Handle user administration activities such as creating base and variant job roles and assign it to
IM/PS/CO/FM/PCP users. Also, analyze/resolve authorization issues.
Appointed as Capital Planning & Budgeting Analyst to the newly formed Capital Planning & Performance Management department to carry-out the following activities:
Develop Capital Projects Planning and Performance Procedures Guide (procedures and forms) for SEC (merged Consolidated Electric Companies all over the kingdom).
Assigned as acting Capital Projects Performance Management Division Manager in SEC operating areas (East, Central, West and South) to establish the divisions and educate and train the employees to apply cost engineering functions and capital projects planning and performance procedures.
Assigned as cost engineer in Project Management Dep., while reporting to Resource Planning Dep. to carry-out the following activities:
Provide cost-engineering services for capital projects including cost estimation, planning, budgeting and control for high value projects (SR 20 - 200 Million).
Maintain capital projects funding requests (budget supplements/ returns/transfers).
Administer contract procurement for General Engineering, Quality Assurance & Quality Control, Land Survey Services, and Geotechnical & Concrete Investigation & and Material testing Services.
Review/cost comply projects completion statements against stipulated contract conditions for invoicing process.
Develop and analyze construction overhead allocations percentages to capital projects.
Coordinate and work closely with Comptroller’s Department to facilitate capital projects financial closeout activities.
Report periodically or as required cost of capital projects for management and external organizations.
Participate in preparation of Operating Plan & Five Yare Business Plan highlighting Dept. mission, objectives, goals and strategies.
Prepare capital projects capitalization/ depreciation forecast.
Prepare year-end accruals for projects payments.
Participate in Total Quality Management (TQM) processes as a team leader and a member..
Employed by Resource Planning department and rolled-in Professional Development Program (PDP) to gain knowledge about projects life cycle by reporting to following departments:
Engineering & Design Services Dep., System Planning Dep., Distribution Engineering Dep., Power Transmission Dep., Material Management Dep., Project Management Dep., Comptroller’s Dep. and Contracting Dep.
