The wireless network in KSU University is one of the biggest networks in Middle East as it has more than 4000 Access points and 30 Controllers and WiSMs, up to 40 branches all over the kingdom and more than 100, 000 users.
The following summarize my current duties:
- Installation and administration of many wireless network systems including the Wireless Controllers, WiSMs, WCS, ACS, indoor and outdoor APs.
- Design and implement the wireless networks in the new buildings.
- Meeting with vendors and partners for evaluating and presenting new products and new IT solutions. I am responsible for the technical review and analysis.
- Troubleshooting many types of high level problems.
- Managed several passive and active installations projects in Campus and in new buildings.
- administration of many network systems ( Cisco Switches : 6500, 3750, 2900), Cisco Firewall (FWSM), Juniper Firewall ( ISG), Juniper VPN Concentrator )
