Design experience includes the development and management of projects involving highways, bridges, intersections, and interchange geometrics and plans, traffic studies, traffic control and staging plans, right-of-way documents and plans. Have designed and managed projects for the Illinois Tollway, the Illinois Department of Transportation
In charge of the design of Al Rayyan road project.
Al Rayyan project includes design and preparation of 13 Km of roadway, structure, drainage, traffic control, utilities and pavement marking plans. Project includes design of single point urban diamond interchanges, underpasses, tunnels and bridges.
In charge of Quality Control and approval of all roadways design that included geometric design, drainage, utilities design and corridors, ROW, structures and safety auditing.

Project: New Hillsdale station and grade separation.
Design and estimate of rail grade separation alternatives over 25th, 28th and 31st Streets included rail alignments and profiles.
Responsible for Quality of technical work production and has the final say in submission of all deliverables. Safety auditing for interstate highway 10. Provide hands-on review of deliverables and day to day technical guidance. Coordinates and approves training activities.
Project: I-355 (North-South Toll way) from US-6 to 167th.
Preparation of a pre-concept and concept report; design and preparation of horizontal and vertical alignments; ROW, roadway, structure, drainage, barrier warrants and pavement marking plans, and construction schedules for 1.8 miles of new 4-lane toll way which includes a mainline toll plaza with fly-by automatic vehicle identification lanes.
•Project: I-88 (East - West Toll way) from IL Route 59 to (I-355, N-S Toll way).
Widening and reconstruction of 8.0 miles of existing 6-lanes toll way. Realignment of existing ramps; design of retaining wall; noise wall; concrete median barrier and base; guardrail; drainage structures; detention basins; roadway lighting and control consoles; utility relocation; and ground and overhead mounted signing.
•Project: I-80/94 (Kingery/Borman) Expressway Phase II Design Engineering from Burnham Avenue to US 41.
Design of 2 km of roadway, structure, drainage, traffic control and pavement marking plans. Project includes design of 10 mainline expressway lanes, local road relocation and reconstruction, 10 new retaining walls with noise walls and 4 bridge reconstructions.
•Project: FAP-305 Palatine Rd. Phase II Design Engineering from west of IL 83 (Elmhurst Road) to IL 21 (Milwaukee Ave).
2.7 miles design and preparation of roadway, structure, drainage, traffic control and pavement marking plans. Project includes design of a new single point urban diamond intersection at Wheeling Rd., 13, 000 lineal feet of retaining walls, 1 new bridge, 2 bridge reconstructions and 2 bridge rehabilitations.
•Project: Steger Rd., Harlem Ave., Ridgeland Rd. and Sauk Trail, Phase I & II Design Engineering Cook County, IL.
3.5 miles of roadway reconstruction of Steger Road from Harlem Ave. to Ridgeland Ave.; reconstruction and re-alignment of Harlem Ave. from Sauk Trail to Steger Road; reconstruction and re-alignment of Ridgeland Ave. from Steger Road north .5 miles; reconstruction of Sauk Trail to a 5 lane section from Harlem Ave. to Ridgeland Ave. Project includes the design and preparation of roadway, drainage, traffic control and pavement marking plans.
•Project: Metra Rock Island District Bridges at Halsted, Vincennes & 89th Streets in Cook County, IL.
Civil design; preparation of structure plans and specifications for the rehabilitation of Metra Rock Island District Bridges over Halsted Street, Vincennes Avenue and 89th Street. The project included field survey of track work, and structural inspection and condition assessment of existing viaducts to establish the rehabilitation program. Contract plans included track plans necessary for staging the rehabilitation, and details for steel repairs to the thru-girders, concrete repairs to the abutments and piers, reconstruction of the bearing seats, and application of a waterproofing membrane system to the existing concrete decks.
•Project: I-55 Phase II Design Engineering - at Lorenzo, Renwick, and Plainfield Roads
Project included the construction of 6 lanes interchange with 4 ramps, retaining walls; drainage structures; roadway lightening and overhead signings.
Design and construction of 3 km of seafront roadway; coordinated of personnel and construction's contractors; design and preparation of roadway seafront sheet piles, underpass tunnels; storm sewers and lighting plans.
Project: Boughton Road and Route 53 Intersection Phase II Design Engineering
Design of the intersection vertical and horizontal geometry: design and preparation of roadway plan; ROW; IDS; roadway, traffic control; and pavement marking.
•Project: I-355 (North-South Toll way) Army Trail Plaza
Design of the horizontal and vertical alignment; design and preparation of ROW, roadway, structure, drainage, traffic staging and pavement marking plans and construction schedules for reconstruction of 4-lane toll way that includes a mainline toll plaza expansion with fly-by automatic vehicle identification lanes; two cross road overpass structures are included in addition to retaining walls and noise walls.
Project: I-80 Bridge over Metra, and US Route 30 / I-80 Bridge over 175th Street
Design and preparation of bridge plans that included extension of existing piers and abutments, replacement of superstructure with steel curved beams and revised horizontal and vertical alignment. Chicago Avenue from Chicago River to Lake Shore Drive, Halsted Street (City of Chicago), and Jackson Street (City of North Chicago) Civil Engineer for the evaluation of the existing roads, designed the road improvements including new pavement and storm sewers.
•Project: Metra Bridge No. Z-20 West line over Des Plaines River (Metra)
Inspection and evaluation of the existing structure of tracks 1 and 2 rated and analyzed the existing superstructure and substructure.
•Project: South Pulaski Viaduct over I-55 Highway (City of Chicago)
Performed structural analysis and design of new bridge deck and established bridge deck elevation.
Supervision of the reconstruction of North Avenue Bridge, Bascule Bridge and Ohio Feeder Bridge; designed and evaluated concrete and asphalt mix and inspected the construction material.
•Project: Metra Rock Island District (Metra)
Design of the retaining structures and prepared the civil plans between 66th and 72nd street Bridge.
Design of road’s embankments, foundations and retaining walls.
O'Hare Airport Terminal 5 (City of Chicago) Material Engineer for the inspection of the caisson's construction, structural steel, and the taxi and runway pavement.
