Directing IT operations and coordinating new system developments and improvements to existing systems directly through management and supervisory teams. Working closely with the CFO and wider executive in utilising technology to aid overall business performance improvement, growth and profitability. Lead 4 managers and more than 100 IT professionals supporting more than 9, 000 users across the Kingdom including hardware, Email, CITRIX, LAN, WAN, VIOP, ERP (Finance, Supply Chain, HR & Payroll, and Project costing), CAFM in addition to 48 other applications. Managing IT strategy, building business roadmaps centred on Company objectives and executive team priorities. Overseeing all business information systems and market intelligence on providers such as Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, CISCO, Dell, HP, Apple, EMC, McAfee, Kaspersky, COSTX, Timberline, MAXIMO, for future planning and potential implementation; as well as preparing RFPs, handling IT contracts, proposals, hardware and software acquisitions.

Key Achievements
 Played a key role in development of IT related policies and procedures aiding governance, cyber security, risk management, quality assurance, continuous improvement, cost control and regulatory compliance across the organisation.
 Streamlined the IT function separating support tasks and creating new leadership positions resulting in improved performance and cost savings.
 Managed cloud services utilization, enhancing security, increasing flexibility and reducing capital expenditure which resulted in reconciliation of $667K.
 Negotiated with Microsoft to migrate email service to Office 365, reducing enterprise agreement costs, in addition to using the cloud for critical backups. Also, negotiated with Oracle (a hybrid environment) new applications licensing for Taleo (recruitment), Hyperion (financial analysis cloud services) and other HRMS applications.
 Conducted a CAFM Software evaluation and implementation. Renegotiating vendor agreements that produced a $1.32 M saving and secured the Microsoft cloud infrastructure as a supporting service for the CAFM implementation.
 Led in-house redesign and conversion of applications from Oracle 6I to Oracle 10G (Goods Transportation management, Contract Management, Overtime budgeting, Maintenance Management System, Tendering system, Camps & Housing, Medical insurance) that enabled the effective Oracle ERP integration.
 Led the technical and functional Oracle ERP implementation team covering Finance, HR, Supply Chain, Project costing (construction & Maintenance), and EAM, effectively coordinating and aligning divisional and departmental requirements.
 Headed network and infrastructure setup at Princess Noura construction project supporting 1700 business users.
 Coordinated VPN and Microwave communications setup between the head office, regional offices and remote projects that resulted in a stable redundant network, eliminated the need for onsite server installations, reduced manpower, and centralised all IT services.

Facilitated information systems resource administration, budget input and management. Implemented and provided strategic direction on company policy for information systems. Supervised the operations; managed and maintained all IT related services, software, hardware, and networking, for company owners and executive managers. Also, supervised technical support services (Infrastructure) and managed the software development services.


 Actively involved all company divisions and department heads in a Business process evaluation and re-engineering initiative that produced new, streamlined processes.
 Successfully managed the ERP Implementer evaluation and selection involving 12 local and regional implementer companies overseeing the sending of RFPs to the shortlisted providers.
 Efficiently gathered divisional and departmental software requirements and coordinated the subsequent tender process with software providers such as, SAP, Oracle, JD-Edwards, and People Soft resulting in the selection of best ERP software solution for business’ requirements.
 Established secure and private satellite network between the head office, remote sites, Paris, and Beirut that incorporated high speed data transfer and video conferencing in addition to IP telephony between all the connected locations.
 Setup finger print and procurement proximity card readers governing access and attendance recording at the Riyadh head office locations.
