Responsibilities:
-- Dealing with Operator’s like, Etisalat, Du, STC, Mobily, Zain-KSA, Zain-BH, Batelco, VIVA Bahrain, Qtel, MTN-Yemen, Mobinil, Vodafone, and others mainly to:
-- Finalize direct SMS connectivity deals.
-- Offer new VAS services, mobile applications and content download
applications.
-- Follow up the delivery of revenue reports and ensuring payment transfers.
-- Coordinating business with other Service Providers in MENA region.
-- Managing customers’ Accounts for UAE Market.
-- Preparing and customizing contracts according to the nature of the deal.
-- Negotiating office sales; managing staff; evaluating monthly financial reports;
preparing annual budgets; and ensuring timely collection of accounts
receivable.
-- Directing daily operations, observing new business opportunities, analyzing
workflow and establishing priorities
-- Regularly presenting project plans to board of directors.
-- Analyzing customers usage behavior segment wise & platform wise for better
product development, based on the Target Groups.
-- Planning and launching of new services/promotions depending on market
requirements to increase VAS usage and ARPU.
-- Working with sales staff to determine pricing points according to market
fluctuations.
Initiating and executing the below projects since their inception from start to end:
-- Shifted all Actel platforms’ architecture in UAE, Bahrain, KSA, Egypt, Syria
and Lebanon from vendor-specific dependent solutions to a generic one to
cut cost and unify IVR applications development.
-- Initiated, built-up and completed a new IVR-operating platform at Thuraya
Data Center in Sharjah to accept International calls using SS7 protocol. It
supports 16 E1 lines and up to 480 concurrent calls. It is considered as the
best revenue generating project for the company.
-- Established site-to-site VPN connections between ACTEL and several
operators like MOBILY and ZAIN Bahrain to be used for pulling received SMS
messages
Responsibilities:
-- Budgeting and overseeing IT expenses.
-- Assigning work packages to technical team members.
-- Assuring effective communication among everyone involved in the project.
-- Managing costs, schedule, quality, risks and resources used (Manpower,
Materials, and Equipment) and taking appropriate action where these deviate
from agreed tolerances.
-- Negotiating and finalizing a deal for ACTEL to be the exclusive agent for
APEX in ME.
-- Directing daily operations, analyzing workflow, establishing priorities and
setting deadlines.
-- Evaluating the organization's technology use and needs and recommending
improvements such as hardware and software upgrades.
-- Searching and implementing innovative projects to boost revenue.
Responsibilities:
-- Developing the AudioTex application services for the company using SCO
UNIX, Omni View, C and MySQL.
-- Designing and implementing AudioTex services based on technical
experience:
a. Writing scripts for the services
b. Finalizing service design
c. Preparing flow charts
d. Building applications
-- Setup and configuration for the SMS server to send bulk SMS campaigns to
clients using Red Hat Linux, C language and Sockets Programming.
-- Developing Premium SMS applications (2-way SMS).
-- Following up with the operators for obtaining IVR/PSMS codes for new
services.
-- Carrying out all periodic maintenance activities on servers, including system
software configuration, file system and volume management, OS patch
installation and email support.
-- Developing daily and monthly traffic reports using Bash Scripts and genuine
C language.
-- Titan II and Matrix servers’ installation and administration.
-- Customer support and follow up for technical problems.
