Job Responsibilities/Field Work
IN Mineral Explorations

 Geological and geochemical anomaly interpretation, target generation, planning, supervision and implementation of exploration drilling
 Geological field mapping (litho logical, structural, geomorphic, alteration, veining,

mineralization)
 Analyze non-core and core samples and develop litho logical logs (mud logging).
 Maintain litho logs with proper core recoveries, RQD, with other analyzing property & description.
 Construct geo technical logs. Prepare geo-technical logs
 Coal sampling according to USGS & JORC guidelines.
 Make panel diagrams and isopach maps of the area.
 Supervise exploration wells.
 Supervise geotechnical wells
 Resource estimation by USGS method

 Take shoot of hole angle & azimuth at different depth of hole, using Inclinometer (tropary)
 Monitoring/supervise whole site, Doing core and non-core logging(7rigs in operation at a time)
 Packing of sample in polyethylene sleeves, wax & in liner (in geo-tech boreholes).
 Taught 16 new geologists

In hydro geological studies

 Identify water bearing formations.

 Monitor geophysical logging.
 Compare geophysical logs with geological logs.
 Prepare Casing Design.
 Calculation of Gravel, bentonite sealing & cement.
 Monitor process of installation of MS, UPVC (Unplaticized Polyvinylchloride) casing, gravelling, sealing, well development, and Testing of 24hrs to 1month.
 Monitor water level from tube well during pump test (drawdown & recovery) continuously with manual water level & with level logger as well in 24, 72hrs & also in 1month pumping test .

 Monitor water well discharge by different methods, such as use of a container and stop watch, weir tank, flow meter etc.
 Calculating Aquifer Conductivity, Tranmissisvity, & Storativity by using software & USGS excel sheet.
 Taught 22 new geologists
 Supervise al site (having 5rigs in operation at a time)
 Using Sonlist Data logger & Peizometer
 Used VWT (vibrating wire Transducer) VWP (vibrating wire peizometer)

Report writing and documentation of all the activity (maintain DPR Daily progress Report & geo documentation)
