Subject: Procurement and estimation of Goods and Services for governmental and non-governmental entities.
- Analyze, estimate and evaluate tender documents and requests for quotations
- Review and analyze the requested technical specifications of equipment
- Source for worldwide suppliers and manufacturers that comply with the technical and commercial requirements of the clients
- Evaluate and negotiate quotations to determine best price and delivery performance
- Develop and prepare necessary documentation and accordingly procure equipment
- Prepare, issue and follow up on purchase orders
- Follow up with the manufacturers to make sure production schedules and delivery are respected
- Update regularly and maintain procurement records for future use and considerations
Subject: Bluetooth Indoor Positioning
- Define an Indoor Localization System, implemented in a mobile application to be used in hospitals, museums and stadiums.
- Compute signal strengths of surrounding Bluetooth devices, in order to estimate the user’s position.
- Develop positioning techniques and filter based technologies for high accuracy localization. Mean error was reduced to 2m.
Subject: Development & Validation of clutch
system for hybrid vehicles
- Test and validate a prototype coupling system placed between the combus-
tion engine and the electrical motor for hybrid vehicles.
- Resolve reliability problems of series parts after a change in the production
line.
- Ensure the feedback on the customer returns, to validate the good parts,
and to detect the nonconformities.
