• CO2 Sequestration FEED - Ras Laffan, Qatar - front end engineering works for Qatar Energy LNG. Enabling CO2 capture and sequestration for cleaner LNG production of 14 trains. Aligned with Qatars environmental and sustainability goals. Equipment handled: CO2 Compressors, Sour Water Pumps, Instrument Air Package, TEG Package.
• Propane Dehydration and Polypropylene Chemical Complex - Messaid, Qatar - Project Management Consultant (PMC) work for Qatar Petrochemical Co.
Collaborating with project stakeholders for objectives, scope and deliverables. Develop comprehensive plans, timelines, risk assessments and resource management for FEED scope. Facilitating engineering deliverable reviews for FEED contractor.

Mechanical Engineer at Chiyoda Almana Engineering LLC

Providing brownfield and greenfield engineering solutions to one of the world’s most extensive LNG producers, as well as peripheral systems such as; Zero-Liquid Discharge Systems, Helium Production, Flare reduction, etc.

•CO2 Export Facilities - Ras Laffan, Qatar - Engineering and Procurement for facilities for dehydrating CO2-rich gases from the AGE absorbers of the LNG trains and dense-phase CO2 transport system running across +120 km pipeline to provide CO2 for enhanced oil recovery injection in the Dukhan oil field.
Performed detailed engineering works for the CO2 Export Booster pump (API610-BB5, with dry gas seal system), multi-skid TEG dehydration package (contactors, exchangers, reboilers and vapor recovery skids), rerate of Acid Gas Compressors for CO2 service (API617, with antisurge valving and dry gas seal system) among other machineries in the facilities.
•WWTP, North Field East Expansion - Ras Laffan, Qatar - Chiyoda Technip Joint Ventures (CTJV) aims to construct 4 mega LNG trains, with a capacity of 8 MMTPA and associated facilities. Part of the early works scope is to construct a large-scale temporary shelter and waste water treatment plant to be utilized during the mega train construction.
Performed Project Management Consultant roles for CTJV. Review and support the technology provider and constructor for the temporary camp and WWTP on machinery such as blowers, filter press, Odor Handling Unit, pressure sand filters, pumps and other related equipment.
•Near Zero Liquid Discharge - Mesaieed, Qatar - Qatar Fuel Additives Co.Ltd., intends to implement Near Zero Liquid Discharge (N-ZLD) project in compliance with environmental regulatory guidelines. N-ZLD mainly consists of pre-treatment facilities, Ultra Filtration (UF) and Reverse Osmosis (RO) units, with associated facilities (chemical injection, water storage and distribution, effluent collection, solid handling treatment etc.).
Performed Project Management Consultant roles N-ZLD technology provider on machinery such as blowers, screw compressors, chiller unit, centrifuge, pumps and other related equipment.
•AKG Sales Gas Diversion - Ras Laffan, Qatar - Rerate and revamp works for Qatargas on their Al Kaleej Gas unit. Diversion of excess sales gas into other units for reprocessing and increasing total output.
Performed rerate activities together with OEM (BHGE) on revamping two Excess Gas delivery compressor (API 617) into new operating condition. Support activities to OEM for refurbishing of Spent Gas Compressor (API 617) into its new service condition.
•RGA Fire Water Pump - Offshore, Qatar - Engineering and Procurement for facilities for replacing three units of diesel engine-driven fire water pumps located on RasGas Alpha offshore platforms.
Performed detailed engineering works for FM certified and UL listed Fire Water Pumps and diesel engine drivers including controllers and auxiliaries according to NFPA 20.
•Laffan Refinery 1 and 2 Opportunity Studies - Ras Laffan, Qatar
Chiyoda Almana Engineering LLC was tasked to perform a several large-scale feasibilities on opportunities to improve yields on Qatar Petroleum’s LNG trains. The results are aimed to minimize LPG and Naphtha from condensate feeds, increase refinery capacity to 110% of current, reroute Naphtha from other sources to be re processed, among many other debottlenecking opportunities.
As a mechanical engineer, performed rerate and debottleneck activities on the Recycle Gas and Off-Gas Compressors, overhead pumps and other feasibility study activities such as OEM consultation, site surveys and data gathering.

• SABIC Nexlene - Al-Jubail, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia The Nexlene™ project is for the installation of a polyethylene plant in KSA based on the proprietary technology that has been developed and owned by SSNC (A 50-50 % Joint Venture Company between SABIC and SKGC) for production of specific grades of polyethylene. Performed front-end engineering works for rotating equipment and packages such as Centrifugal Compressors, Hydrogen Compressors, Reactors with agitators and detail engineering for rotating equipment, also performing role as checker for FEED deliverables on packaged and rotating equipment.
• BP Cassia Platform B&C Compression - Offshore, Trinidad and Tobago - Front End Engineering and Design for bpTT. Mechanical Lead Engineer for delivering administration, labor hour estimate, progressing and forecast for FEED deliverables such as specifications, equipment data sheets, scope of work preparation and long-lead equipment purchase requisitions. Resolution of indiscipline conflicts, client liaison and cold eye reviews for deliverables.
• Vopak Fuel Growth 4 Project - Durban, South Africa - The Growth 4 project will replace the existing bunds 1 and 2 on Farewell site where currently 39 tanks make up a total capacity of 32kcbm.
Engineering deliverables such as general and individual equipment specifications, Technical Bid Evaluation, Supplier document review and construction & commissioning support on packages; Marine Loading Arms, Stadis and Dye Injection Skid and Road Loading Arms.
• Ineos Styrolution Texas City Steam Generation - Texas City, United States - Acting as a Mechanical Lead Engineer for delivering a FEL2 estimate package to Ineos Styrolution. Engaging in staffing and control-level scheduling, preparing an overall scope of facilities, coordination with other groups like process engineering and estimate verification.
• Dow KSA Reverse Osmosis Water Phase II - Kingdom of Saudi Arabia - detailed engineering works and construction support for Dow Specialties, ltd.
