Directed and supervised the design and detailing of the Interconnecting piperacks (ICPR) for the Kearl Expansion Project, working as Area Lead / Senior Structural Engineer responsible for Structural design, design review and Project Management. The ICPR involved nearly 3000 ton of steelwork, consisting of around 100 individual piperack modules and bridge modules, stretching over a 3km length of the project site, carrying pipelines of 24” to 52” diameters, cable trays, walk ways and equipments.

Managed a team of 8 structural engineers and designers at home office and coordinated with a team of 30 structural engineers and designers at a remote branch office, for this project.

Provided manpower estimates for costing and budgeting of the above work.
Reported to higher management on progress, schedule, manpower requirement and productivity.
Attended weekly progress/co-ordination meetings and prepared weekly and monthly progress reports.
Reviewed shop drawings including connection design drawings.

• 5B+ G+ 34storeyed Office building for ADNOC at Abu Dhabi. The building had its lower 12 floors in concrete and upper floors in steel with composite steel beams and profiled decking.
• 4B+G+40 storied Office building for Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank at Abu Dhabi.
• Project co-ordination including attending client review meetings, review of shop drawings, and responses to RFIs for 3B+G+29 storied Zadco-Gasco Towers, for ADNOC at Abu Dhabi.
• Designed the structure and reviewed shop drawings for A380 Aircraft Hangar at Abu Dhabi.
This structure constituted of 90m span x 30m high steel frames resting on piled foundations.
