➢ Oversee day-to-day electrical construction activities, including substation, transfromers, switchgear, cabling, lighting, and earthing system.
➢ Conduct inspections of Electrical installation, terminations, cable laying and panel assembly.
➢ Enforce electrical safety procedures, including lock-out/tag-out (LOTO), grounding /earthing confined space and energrization protocols.
➢ Report Unsafe conditions and support the HSE team in conducting electrical hazard assesments.

➢ Monitor contractor and subcontractor performance in delivering electrical works to schedule and specification.
➢ Witness key activities such as cable testing, insulation resistance checks, transformer installation, switchgear energrization.
➢ Verify that corrective actions are taken promptly for non-conformance and deviations
➢ Coordinate with civil, mechanical, HSE and all other concerned parties to ensure the integrated execution of electrical works with other discplines
➢ Assist in resolving cross-discipline interface issues, including tie-ins and sequencing conflicts
➢ Participate in daily and weekly coordination meetings with contractors and PMC teams
➢ Maintain daily log, inspection reports and photographic evidence of electrical works
➢ Raise NCR’s, site observation, and follow up on closure of issues.
➢ Contribute to weekly and monthly report providing updates on electrical progress, risks and compliance.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :
Familiar with SEC Engineering, Material and Construction Standards.
Study of specifications, tender drawings, bill of quantity for electrical distribution systems.
Prepare RFQs, P. Os, Submittals, Transmittals, Technical Proposals for bidding of turnkey projects.
Preparation of project design submittal of ongoing Project.
Arrange the Co-ordination meeting between Clients and Vendors.
Installation, Testing activities at site
Project Close out works until project completion
Coordinates closely with Site electrical engineer to ensure that permanent works are properly coordinated with other disciplines
Witnesses quality control inspections to ensure that the permanent works are constructed according to the contract, applicable codes, standards, approved drawings and specifications.
Witnesses all testing, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up activities to assure compliance with the approved plans and procedures.
Reviews submitted shop and as-built drawings, materials submittals, tie-in procedures, project schedules, and work permits; and coordinates with the concerned departments for obtaining the client approval and/or their comments.
Organizes, coordinates, and conducts in conjunction with the concerned departments acceptance inspections and re-inspections of the completed permanent works, until all deficiencies are corrected and signed off.
Reviews invoices for correctness of installed quantities for the electrical portion of the permanent works.
Attends a bi-weekly meeting between the Client’s Construction team.

• Responsible for insulation resistance testing, Megger testing, Secondary and Primary injection for C.Ts and VTs, Contact Resistance Testing, Pre-commissioning of SCADA, SOE and Annunciation Panels.
