21 Years in Thermal, Acoustic & Fire Insulation Products, like - Polyurethane Foam (PUF /PIR) as Cold Insulation. Monitor and control technical aspects of sales and marketing customer communications; customer satisfaction; technical customer complaints; new product development NPD; R&D as per customer expectations, demands and expansion of co.; Provides training to all new sales, marketing, manufacturing team for Process/ System Improvements.
My current duties include: preparation of quality system management documentation and ensuring high quality standards in the company. Furthermore I am responsible for continuous analysis and monitoring of quality as well as the implementation of quality procedures and quality control standards. carry out quality control of all RM & finished products to check their compliance with international standards and customers requirements. I am also looking after setting up of a new Continuous Sandwich Panels line project, production, PUR &PIR chemical formulations, liaising with customers, Suppliers, TPI, Auditors, testing & calibration and the QAQC department.
Currently working at LOOTAH METAL SECTION PROFILES, AJMAN, UAE, a Lootah Group of co. (manufacturer of Rigid Polyurethane Foam PUR & PIR Sandwich Panels (Discontinuous. & Continuous line), Metal Profiles, Purlins etc.) as
Manufacturing & technical background includes Thermal Insulation RM & finished products, QA, QC, NABL Testing, ISO 9001 (QMS), IS0 14001( EMS), BS 18001 (OHSAS), FM, UL, DCL, SIRIM, Warrington Fire, EIL, TPI, ACD & DCD Certifications /Approvals.
•Internal Quality Auditor for ISO 9001 (QMS), IS0 14001(EMS), BS 18001 (OHSAS).
•Monitor & control of process, Calibrations, RM & FG product testing & third party inspections.
•Development and supervision of quality systems & Quality teams.
•Preparation and management of technical documentation like - QAP & specification for RM & Finished products complying customer requirements as per ASTM, EN, IS, BS, AS & Customer Specifications
•Proficient in using Microsoft Office tools Word, Excel, Power point etc.
•Controlling daily activities to ensure that the desired qualities of RM & FG met.
•Conducts analysis in the production line during defect occurrence and other trouble shooting.
•Conducts quality audits to identify areas of conformity and nonconformity of existing practices or activities of the organization against ISO 9001 and QMS requirements.
•Makes planning regarding IQA activities and system improvement.
•Check important documents to be issued -rejection note, abnormality notice, work instructions.
•Conducts training to QA/QC inspectors with regards to inspection procedures and proper use of measuring equipments.
•Monitor / follow up implementation and effectiveness of corrective / preventive actions for any non-conformity, quality claim or customer complaints received.
•Coordinate with customers regarding quality issues & improvements.
•Review and update quality manual, procedures and documents in compliance to regulatory and quality system requirements.
•Review all information in the technical spec. and convey any discrepancy found to the Sales, Marketing, and Production team.
•Visits construction sites for inspection of FG installations & further improvements.
•Inform to suppliers if any defect / quality issues were found in the materials.
•Performs in-process inspection / quality control procedures to ensure conformity with internal quality specifications and customer requirements.
•Attending meetings outside with RM suppliers & Customers along with SCM & Marketing team for technical aspects.
•Devises ways and means for process and quality improvement.
•Analyses causes of defects incurred during processing and initiate countermeasure for its prevention and elimination.
•Investigate problems encountered on the line whether it is caused by man, machine, material and method; initiates temporary solution to avoid line stoppage and coordinates with the Production, Engineering and Quality Control Department to formulate a final solution.
QUALITY responsible for three manufacturing units like - Rigid Polyurethane Foam (PUF/PIR), Ceramic Fiber. Rockwool Products, Sandwich Panels, Acoustic Enclosures. NABL Accredited Labs, QMS, EMS, OHSAS, BEEP Documentation, Certification, Implementations with TPI / Audits etc
I was responsible for excellent product quality. During my work I was creating and implementing quality assurance and improvement plans, investigating, selecting and facilitating existing and new quality methods and tools.
Key achievements: As QMS Management Representative - Implementation of Quality Management System based on ISO 9001 & UL, FM, DCL, CE/ Warrington Fire, SIRIM, EIL, Reliance Certifications / Product Approvals which integrates all processes for each species products in innovative way.
- Implementation of qualitative tools such as statistical process control (SPC) and SAP Quality module, which helped to reduce defected products and increased the efficiency of production & QA/ QC processes.
- Created innovative online Material Test Certificate (MTC) based on SAP Quality Module, Barcode batch system, the online production control and quality control methods to avoid Customer Complaints & increase Customer Satisfaction Level.
