✓ Prepares the Discharge Plan and instructing Take Home Medications for patients
✓ Updates all the data in the System/Records of each patient and prepares the Endorsement Sheet that will be used in the endorsement to the next shift.

Job Description: ✓ Prepares the materials to be used for all minor or major surgeries that will be done.
✓ As Circulating Nurse, organizes and prepares OR before the start of the procedure. Also checks to see if equipments are working properly.
✓ Gathers supplies for surgical procedure and opens sterile supplies for scrub nurse.
✓ Conducts pre-operative patient's assessment.
✓ Counts sponges, sharps, needles and instruments with the scrub nurse in baseline, initial and final counting.
✓ Assists surgical team by tying gown and arranging equipments.
✓ Continuously monitors patient and procedure for any breaks in aseptic technique and anticipates needs of the team. Also opens additional supplies for the scrub nurse.
✓ Documents all data during the intra-operative phase of the procedure.
