DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Ensure care to appropriate patient through proper identification & checking of chart
• Perform circulation & scrub nurse duties during operating room procedure
• Proper techniques and practices are used according to accepted standard
• Schedule operating room cases and coordinate pre-op & post-op care
• Keep records of the patients recovery and provided it to the related doctors.
• Assist in control and maintenance of supplies and equipment
• Assist in monitoring traffic and personnel to ensure proper control of infection & asepsis.
• Establish a good working relationship with nursing personnel, physicians and other departments as well as patients, family and relatives.
• Assess patient status and notify to surgeons of clinical changes.
• Assist with or initiates emergency life saving procedures.
• Participates staff development programs for the improvement of the delivery of health care services.
