Responsible for Impact Evaluation Study of the Investment Promotion & Financing Facility Project (IPFF). Evaluation of all Technical Data available for seven Power Plants under IPFF Project who received loan against Doreen Power House (3nos @22MW), Doreen Power House (11MW), Regent Power Ltd (22MW)., United Power Generation & Distribution Ltd. for 2 EPZs at Dhaka (35MW) & Chittagong (44MW)
Planning designing of sewage lifting system including electrical motor control panels. Also responsible for selecting sewage pumps and associated control systems with technical specifications.
Data collection and review. Meetings with equipment suppliers. Check HV supply options to sites + standby power alternatives. Power cost analysis. Co-ordinate Ghorashal 78.5 MW Quick Rental Power Plant with GE Energy- Atlanta, USA supplied TM2500 Mobile Gas Turbine Generator on Turn Key Basis. Assists Managing Director of Max Power Ltd for day to day operation, selection of materials both local and foreign procurement. Collaboration & advice GE Energy Staff on different issues of Power Plant.
Responsible for the erection of one Unit Hitachi Zosen Allison Gas Turbine Generator with heat recovery plant, Boiler, Economise, Super heater including Water Treatment Plant with reverse osmosis unit (315 cu. Meters) per day. Also responsible for the commissioning of Steam Turbine Unit for Partex Paper Mills Ltd at Hatabo, Rupgonj for generating and service steam for raw material of Paper Mill.
Team Work with NWPGC/ BPDB/ MINCO on upgrading Bid Documents (3 Vol.) including necessary review, alteration, correction for the 150MW Gas Turbine Simple Cycle/ Duel fuel. Participating Bid Evaluation to select EPC under this Project. Attend & Response all sorts of queries, correspondences, pre-bid meeting, site visit for MINCO as well as Project Directors, Khulna/ Sirajganj. Suggested best provisions and acceptable ranges of Gas Turbines parameters for easy bidding of EPC Contractors. Checked different manufacturer’s make & models and their limitations to PT/ RRT/ COD/ CT/ HGPT etc for the acceptable Turn- Key operation.
Supervise & Monitor Gas Connection to all Generator Units. Suggested material selection, unloading, placements of heavy equipments, transformers, overhead radiators, coolers, silencers etc. Check & Evaluate RRT/ COD for 50MW Rental Power Plant, Kumargaon, Sylhet, Bangladesh.
Responsible for review, edit of Bid Documents for the 2x150MW Siddhirganj Peaking Power Plant Project. Participate in the Team Work on upgrading Bid Documents. Co-ordinate with Team Leader for the preparation of Inception Report, Monthly Progress Report including day to day assignment.
Responsible for selection, documentation of CNG Compressor Unit both Gas driven and Motor Driven. Conduct Training Modules according to the needs of the clients. Co-ordinate with RPGCL/ GoB/ Embassy including local agencies. Involved in Market Survey for some particular demand issue. Suggest Lay-out Plan of the Gas Connection Riser, Compressor Room, Dispenser, Cascade, Cooling Tower, Control Pannel, Priority Pannel, and the related works. Advice the Proper Installation of High Pressure Pipe Lines.
Design and Testing of Training activities to Sponsors and other stakeholders. To prepare three training Modules for 1) Sponsors and Community Groups, 2) Union Parisad Chairmen and Local Government Officials & Government Employees and 3) DPHE Regional Staff. All Modules based on Technical and environmental, Financial, Institutional and Legal, Social and Community aspects. Training Modules also cover engineering requirements and standards for Project Preparation and Operation. Emphasis given on Water Quality Monitoring, Treatments Plants and Dispute Resolutions.
The System of Education under Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology was 4 (four) Years i.e. 8 (eight) semesters in total. Medium of Language is English. 360 students were admitted in first years and studied common engineering subjects including Mathematics. One student could select Major Course like Civil, Electrical, Mechanical at the end of first year. So I had choose Mechanical Engineering and studied for another 6 semesters. I got scholarship 2nd Grade throughout the session.
