As a project nurse, she is responsible in developing and implementing organization’s health and safety policies and procedures in compliance with government regulations, and assists up-line HSE Management to meet corporate goals, develop and deliver operational priorities. Provides medical care to the employees and workers; administer first aid treatments and provide over the counter medications (as per SCH standard) as needed. Conducts Medical Health screening to all the employees and workers ensuring that all are medically fit to work for the project. Assess and monitor the project workforce especially with medical issues. Assist all injured/sick employees to accredited hospitals/clinics. Record and maintain all employees’ medical record securely. Coordinate and report all the accidents & incidents immediately after necessary medical treatment. Formulate or maintain existing health related programs and follow up the effectiveness of the health program.
• Usual clinic nursing duties including
a. General measurements (BP, height, weight, spo2, temperature).
b. Venipuncture
c. Subcutaneous & intramuscular injections e.g. flu, tetanus
d. Assisting with procedures (minor surgeries; dental procedures such as extraction, root canal, filling, periodontal and prosthodontics procedures; ultrasonography; PAP test, etc.)
e. 12 lead ECG
• Office works - as necessary - Nurse receptionist; HR & admin assistant & Insurance Coordinator
• Provides nursing care and assesses health and needs of patients.
• Performed clinical tasks according to hospital policies.
• Safely administer oral, intramuscular and subcutaneous medications.
• Coordinate appropriate care, encompassing numerous healthcare professionals in various fields.
• Communicates all pertinent information and any interventions to the physician.
• Implement patient care plan, in conjunction with patient and family, to assist them in achieving optimal resolution of needs/problems.
• Maintain a cooperative relationship among health care teams by communicating information. Provide a safe and clean working environment.
