Key Contribution:
• Responsible for corporate legal affairs across NWTN group companies in UAE.
• Negotiating, drafting and executing day-to-day agreements and contracts for the Group.
• Developing format and templates for Vehicle Sale Documentation including Consumer oriented forms.
• Formation and restructuring of Companies and M&A matters; associated secretarial matters.
• Implementation of intra-Group contracts pertaining to services among the subsidiaries of the BU.
• Draft, promote and reinforce compliance standards, aligned with territorial laws and regulations and group-wide implementation of policies (Group's corporate governance policies) .
• Training designed to facilitate understanding of, and compliance with, legal regulations, Group procedures and best practices.
• Main interlocutor for all legal queries concerning ongoing activities.
• Partnering with the Green Energy and Battery Energy Storage System project team to guide on structural framework, structuring and regulations.
• Proactively providing, solution-oriented legal and strategic advice to the Group.

• Finance Facility Documentation
• Periodic Legal updates on new law, notification and regulation from time to time.
Key Role:
Overseeing the entire Group Legal function, inter alia, Contract Advisory, M&A, Intellectual Property Portfolio, Finance Facility Documentation, Litigation Management, Company Secretarial and Compliance Function.
Responsibilities, inter alia, include….
Drafting, Vetting and Scrutiny of any type of agreements and contracts ranging from Commercial Contracts, Joint Venture, Acquisitions, Licensing of Technical Know How, NDA’s, E-Business, Trade Mark User, Sale and Purchase Agreements, Distributorship- Trading Agreements; Financial Documentation - Syndication (Islamic and Conventional); Project Documentations- Tenders; Corporate Guarantees, Equipment Supply Erection and Commissioning.
M&A -Legal Due Diligence -Cross Border -Acquisition of Shares / Assets; Successful Acquisition of seventeen companies across various countries including GCC, Europe, Africa and South East Asia and two divestments within a span of ten years with no legal issues over the documentation.
Litigations and Recovery Proceedings; Mediation: Arbitration and Pleadings with 90% success rate.
Legal Research and Legal Periodic updates on court rulings, notifications and regulations.
Intellectual Property with 95% success rate on Infringement and Cancellation proceedings; Registration, Administration, Renewals; Action against Infringers; Licensing Arrangements.
Responsible for managing the GROUP SECRETARIAL AFFAIRS of 156 Companies in addition to managing the Trademark portfolio for 4, 200 trademarks.
Board Member in Public listed company as well as number of subsidiary companies (more from compliance perspective) under the direction of Supervisory Board.
