Job Profile:
• Responsible for leading the Category Management function covering the products and services related to civil works, fit out, MEP, HVAC, Data Centre & High End Technologies with Ooredoo Group.
• Develop the Category profile and strategy in cooperation with business stakeholders and the overall Ooredoo strategic sourcing policy.
• Develop, maintain and regularly update the annual sourcing plan for the Category, in consultation with the business stakeholders.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies related to this Category, in consultation with all internal stakeholders.
• Select and prioritize strategic sourcing initiatives for the Category.
• Evaluate sourcing strategies on regular basis and make any necessary changes to ensure that Ooredoo is always ‘ahead of the game’ and is proactive in its management of its activities.
• Align procurement decisions with internal stakeholders and Group functions (if relevant).
• Develop savings targets and related action plans for the Category on an annual rolling basis.
• Manage day to day sourcing activities such as liaising with relevant functions to receive and execute operational requests and ensure they are handled swiftly and accurately.
• Input into the development of and implementing a cross functional process for measuring supplier performance - ensuring there is a process for liaison and input from internal clients with regards performance inputs.
• Manage the process for supplier certification and supplier audits ensuring the outputs are captured, analyzed, communicated and actions identified and taken.
• Manage the reporting requirement for the function and track compliance.
• Monitor and push through adequate controls to ensure quality and best prices.
• In charge on all group of companies activities all around GCC/MENA/ASIA and USA.
• Providing Outsourced Procurement & Supply Chain Consultancies, Project / Temporary Contract Basis.
1)Plan, Lead and Organize complete activities of Supply Chain Management to ensure that all the required standards, policies, strategies and procedures are strictly followed to ensure an effective and efficient utilization of the resources and significant contribution in the company’s development and profitability.
2)Developed and implemented Standard operating Procedures, Policies, Templates and internal control procedures for Supply Chain Operation for the company with activities involved in house manufacturing or on construction projects sites.
3)Planning and organizing Procurement and Supply Chain Activities to ensure compliance of policies and procedures with proper performance evaluation tools and risk assessment.
4)Plan, Carry out and report periodic bench marking studies with other and similar organizations to identify and recommend best practices in contracts, supplier’s relationship management and performance management.
5)Strategic Sourcing and planning for all procurement categories.
6)Lead, Develop and Implement procurement performance measurements by necessary monitoring and assuring the desired results are achieved by all the stake holders.
7)Ensure compliance of the procedures for maintaining auditable documents and records.
8)Prepare reports for management review monthly, quarterly and annually with proper presentations and future procurement plans.
9)Continuously carry out research on market and statistical data and analyze to seek new source of supply. Keep informed of technological developments in the area of responsibility in order to identify and recommend opportunities to increase effectiveness and /or cost reduction. Maximize the use of ERP and other software’s that could support overall performance.
10)Participate in resolution of disputes, complains and problems where ever necessary with key strategic suppliers and other external parties.
11)Carryout all given tasks by the superior management within the given target time and bench marks.
12)Continuously involved with project management (off site and on site) and technical design team to provide best possible options of different category materials required for the project.
13)Ensure that establishment of system for maintaining auditable document files and records, ensuring their integrity.
JOB DESCRIPTION:

1.In charge of all purchasing/MM/SCM activities for manufacturing, engineering and distribution.
2.Handle supplier relationship management of key suppliers and establish an in-department understanding of the complex supply chain flow and its cost structure.
3.Lead in supplier-related tender activities, for example supplier tender, bid evaluation, supplier selection, negotiation and award (contract / purchase order).
4.Manage suppliers to meet HSE, quality, delivery and service targets.
5.Select the right purchasing approach for each purchase.
6.Inventory control management based on demand plan, maintain and optimize purchase forecast in an accurate and timely manner.
7.Conduct day-to-day import and export logistics related affairs; maintain supply chain database and submission of reports on a timely basis as required.
8.Lead the identification, design, implementation, management and improvement of robust, cross-functional business processes that significantly improve management and execution.
9.Select suppliers for short and long term success.

12.Deciding what goods, services and equipment need to be bought.
13.Warehouse Management, Inventory Control and Forecasting the levels of stock or components needed to make sure that supply keeps up with demand.

17.Making sure that items are delivered on time and that suppliers are paid.
18.Researching alternative suppliers and products, for example by catalogues and trade journals or attending trade fairs and demonstrations.
19.Partner with employees and various other functions to ensure customer satisfaction, quality, reliability, safety, and efficiency in the work environment.
20.Provide consultants and clients with complete technical data and samples submittals of different materials to be used in the project.
21.Established the Purchasing Department structure and instrumental in recruiting a team to provide a comprehensive procurement service.
22.Attending presentation and meetings where ever necessary.
23.Reporting to the CEO.
24.Make necessary arrangement for materials submittal and approvals. (Attend Meetings with Consultants and Contractors where ever required).
