To organize and deal with all HR related jobs like; Recruitment / Staffing, Posting etc:
(So far recruited employees at different levels including senior level managerial positions). Framing of advertisement, Screening / Short listing of candidates.
•Conducting Interviews and Selection of most suitable candidates and their appointment
•Posting of new recruitees, Joining, Induction Training, Transfers of employees.
Promotion & rewards:
•Management of promotion policy, rewards, increments including yearly increments. Handling of employees grievance etc.
•Assisting & devising different methods of compensation / benefits for different levels of employees including Executives & Senior Mgmt.
Training & Development:
•To identify training needs of employees including Senior Management Team members and to organize for in-house as well as outside training programmes / Seminars etc. Preparation / execution / monitoring of training plan / schedule in conformity with ISO 9000 standards requirements and develop the employees to acquire multi-skills.
Performance Appraisal, Talent Retention & Development:
•Devising performance appraisal system, job targets / keys tasks at different levels and to implement and monitor the same from time to time so that talented employees may tend to retain with company.
Personnel & Administration:
•Formulation & Administration of various rules / scheme / regulations of the company Office Order and Working Manuals etc.
•Management & administration of Transportation, Guest House & Occupational Health Centre including tendering, techno-commercial discussion and finalization of contract and its billing etc. with utmost cost effectiveness.
•Processing of Bills, Creation of PR, PO & Service Entries in SAP MM Module.
•VIP Guests visit and booking of Guest House & Hotel arrangement etc.
•Communication system includes BSNL lines attached EPABX. Cellular phone, Walkie-Talkie and with its allied commercial matters.
•Management of Security and intelligence services provided to offices and plants
Legal & Industrial Relations:
•To deal with liasioning and all types of statutory compliance under all Labour Laws like Factories Act, PF Act, Contract Labour (R&A) Act (Including compliance by Contractors) Gratuity, Bonus etc.
•Management of discipline in the organization (Warning, Charge sheet, Domestic inquiries, Suspension, Termination, Dismissal etc.).
•Handled local villagers issue and designed community development projects under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
•Represented the company and made presentations in various forums about the new project. VIP Co-ordination towards various VIP visits and ship owners’ visit to the shipyard.
•Created and maintained facilities like guest house and employee’s colony and other recreational facilities
ABG Shipyard Limited an associate company of ESSAR Group, situated near Dahej in south Gujarat. Presently it is the largest Ship Building Company in the country in private sector according to sales & engaged in making medium to semi large sized ships & vessels for customers across the globe with world-class standard & quality. It also caters the need of Indian Navy, Coast Guard etc for semi large size.
The job profile includes whole gamut of HR, General Admin & liaisoning at Dahej. It was an assignment, directly reporting to the Sr. Vice President - HR & Administration of the Company.
•I am responsible for entire HR Operations like Resource Management, Career Development, Organizational Development, Talent Management, Change Management ensuring that these are aligned to Organization Vision and Strategy
•Development and implementation of HR processes & Policies with futuristic vision for an expanding company.
•Employer engagement initiatives: Manage the 'Reward & Recognition' program, Employee Grievances, Query handing, Query resolution.
•Supervising the separation management - Attrition Analysis, Exit interview, Full and Final settlement etc.
•Compensation designing and restructuring by carrying out Competency mapping, Talent classification, Succession Planning, etc.
•Coordination and Execution of 360° Feedback System.
•Drive organisational restructuring & manpower rationalisation initiatives.
•Implementation of all necessary administrative HR tasks corresponding to the Company's values in general and within the limits of the Indian law.
•Development and Implementation of a compensation and benefit system based on local conditions along with conception of variable incentive plans.
•Employee Self Surveys on Motivation, Compensation, Hygiene, job satisfaction etc
•Support Services like Leave Management, Salary & Payroll Management, Full and Final Settlement, Statutory compliances, benefits etc. Performance management and Competence development.
•Manage all aspects of employer-employee relationships to meet corporate objectives.
•Plan, develop, implement & monitor strategy for overall HR development and management.
