Right now I am leading a team of Customer Service Ocean (PREMIER) as a Manager in APM Global Logistics Bangladesh Ltd trading as Damco A/S in Dhaka, Bangladesh CSO office (a concern of AP. Moller Group-Denmark). My major role is to support commercial planning and get result from Customer Service team. My position seniority date in Maersk Logistics Bangladesh is on the 2nd March, 2003. In this Job band, experiences are furnished below in brief.
1. Most importantly have experience of working with management decision making team to discuss for deciding and improving on day to day business issues. These help us to keep the phase of full steam ahead to meet short and long term goals.
2. This valuable experience leads me to have other good experiences like, managing proper buddy system regularly, for smooth service delivery among Commercial team, Customer Service team Operation team and customers by developing a Service level Agreement.
3. Have experience of implementation work in Damco. Among lot many new customers, had in depth work experience to land new big clients like SPECIALTY FASHION GROUP, DESIGN WORKS, and TAKKO HOLDING GMBH etc.
4. Have experience of standardize work process set up for export and import both, take in consideration of local exceptional land rule of Bangladesh.
5. Have experience to develop a process bank for all NVOCC & few SCM customers.
6. KPI establish for OPS team to maximize company benefit and to meet client SOP.
7. Few claims Handled of the biggest CM1 generating customer TAKKO HOLDING GMBH with the assistance of claim desk.
Supervisor Job Band (Grade-51 & 52): From April 2010 to March, 2012
From April, 2010 to March, 2012 I obeyed my duty as a Supervisor of Ocean Operation & Customer Service team. In that tenor I had to lead of 4 team members. Experiences are furnished below.
1. In this tenor one of the greatest experience was to split Ocean Operation & Customer Service team in two segments of CUS and DOC for smooth service delivery and boost up Ocean productivity the highest number among South Asia countries India, Pakistan, Sri- Lanka and Bangladesh.
2. Had experience in developing new MACROs to get automated support from system (MODS & SAP) to avoid lot many manual inputs.
3. Despite being OPS and Customer Service Supervisor have experience of NVOCC Ocean and LSS products direct and up selling, which contributed on an average USD. 40000.00 Per year.
4. Being as a SAP super User had to work on monthly ICB reconciliation report, Revenue Recognition report, weekly JOB Costing reporting to Finance.
5. Have wide experience of indoor and outdoor vendor workshop for prime customer like LPP SA, SA LES COMPLICES etc with a presentation of PPT.
Administrative Job Band (Grade-47 & 50): From March, 2003 to March, 2010
From March, 2003 to April 2010 I had to work as an end level performer. In this long tenor I had following experiences.
1. Have experience of working FACT implantation jobs from July-2008 to June, 2009 as FACT Super USER.
2. Day to day shipment related all jobs, customer booking, confirming, Carrier booking, vendor fixing, Scheduling, system update in MODS, OCEAN FUNNEL, OASIS INVOICING & PAYMENT etc.
