•Operation and maintenance of All electrical Equipment’s like transformers, panels, motors, switch gears - ACB, VCB, SF6, MCC, DB, LDB,
•Responsible for ensuring that all precautions are taken to isolate equipment prior to commencing work, following all safety instructions and notices and wearing protective equipment at all times and to carry out all activities in accordance with company safety procedures and manufacturer's recommendations
•Involved in operation various maintenance activities with work permit system and LOTO (Lock out Tag out) system like preventive, predictive, breakdown and shutdown maintenance, trouble shooting and testing of all HV/LV electrical equipment’s and electrical control panels, Assisted other departments by performing various functions such as lock out and tag out process.
•Preventive maintenance of motors, switchgears, DB, LDB, MCC, batteries, battery charger, welding socket, generator, motor operated valves (MOV) and overhead cranes.
•Maintain the Electrical Workshop equipment’s
•Documented all client and vendor tests on the installed electrical equipment and conducted tests.
•Checked the installed electrical systems on a regular basis and ensured its smooth functioning Installation, Testing & commissioning all Electrical Equipment’s.
•Ensured that all electrical tools were in accordance to the specifications.
•Maintained the onsite database and performed tests on the electrical system.
•Assisted the departments in establishing temporary power for the electrical systems.
•Relays of M/S LT, Areva, ABB and Schneider for smooth functioning of equipment’s.
•Inspection on different instrument such as pressure gauges, tripping relays, control relays, control power supplies, interlocking switches, panel indicators as well as protection relays and auxiliary transformers. Organized the inspection on plant materials and ensured that they meet the required standards, Performed regular inspections on the electrical work carried in the facility
•Transformer oil checkups for its insulation value (BDV test)./oil circulation using streamline filter/Breather maintenance - silica gel condition check-up & renewal/Trip circuit check-up regarding winding & oil temperature and buchholz relay.
•Performed tests for leakage current hi-pot testing 11kv/3.3kv/ megger test of insulation resistance 5kv to 10kv, Ductor test of bus bar MCC switchgear & transformers and continuity test of power cable phase to phase
•Having maintenance & re-conditioning experience in ACB’s VCB’s and SF6 circuit breakers, CT & PT’s ratio & polarity checking, Checking of closing &tripping mechanism, checking of spring charging devices, motors and breaker’s main & auxiliary contact, fixing & moving main contacts and checking of power closing of contact by carbon impression method
•SF6 gas filling and trouble shooting in HV/MV switch boards
•To complete all work orders indicating details of maintenance or repairs carried out, fault diagnosed, materials and man hours used to complete the work
•Responsible for electrical generation & distribution system monitoring and maintenance all electrical equipment’s preventive and corrective/Spares based on bill of material for all electrical equipment’s/Preparation of standard and critical high voltage switching procedures
•Participated in risk assessment team for high risk activities, Prepared hazardous analysis for all type of electrical Works
•Maintenance of battery charger, batteries, DBs and uninterrupted power supply, De-ionized water re-filling and resin replacements of batteries
•Perform inspection of ex rated electrical equipment installed
•Update oracle for all assigned notifications and work orders close out and raise corrective notifications for scheduling and planning. Involve in switching activities (HV & LV)
•Monitoring the manpower work assigned including activities. Report and update scheduled and planned activity progress to planning in daily and weekly base
•Familiar with ERP/SAP/ system for work order raising, history reporting and generation of report
