KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
•Supervise and manage a team of Engineers and Designers for large-scale engineering projects.
•Organize internal/external plot plan review & brainstorming sessions to thoroughly assess the pros & cons of proposed equipment locations, and collaboratively generate a conclusive, safe, functional, maintainable, constructible and cost-efficient design.
•Prepare study reports for Plot Plans, Site Assessment, Non-Metallic, Cut-over Plans, Design Basis and Scopes of Work.
•Develop essential piping deliverable such as Plot Plan, Piping Plan, Isometric, Saftery Instruction Sheet, Piping Calculations, Critical Line List, PMS, Datasheet, MTO, Tie-in List, Specialty Item List, Coating Map and Insulation Specification.
•Prepare Materials Requisition, conduct Technical Bid Evaluation, Reviewing and Approve Vendor Drawings & Documents.
•Provide assistance to other disciplines by providing desired inputs as & when required, also conduct interdisciplinary quality checks.
•Participate in Value Improvement Practice (VIP) sessions to maximize economic realization for the project.
•Participate in finalizing Document Control Register and deliverables, ensuring compliance with specifications and functional integrity.
•Conduct site surveys to identify optimal equipment locations and piping tie-ins, and subsequently preparing the site survey reports.
•Find a suitable, interference-free equipment location in existing facility using composite drawings. Develop scopes for underground radar and exploratory excavation surveys to ensure the chosen location is free from underground utilities.
•Prepare Technical Queries and Request for Information to obtain missing information, clarify Work scope, and to maintain Company's procedures, specifications, standards, practices and operational requirements.
•Prepare scope for Laser Scan or LFM survey on the existing plant to obtain as-built data or address the absence of an existing 3D model.
•Estimate piping manhours estimate and prepare risk memos for various Pre-FEED, FEED, and Detail Engineering proposals.
•Empower young talents and fresh Saudi graduates through mentorship and tailored training, elevating their engineering skills and work standards while fostering a collaborative team environment.
