- To coordinate, supervise, and participates in the Commissioning work for the project as per the company’s quality system and sound knowledge in works and safety.
- Makes improvements and offers advice about operational procedures.
- Schedules and coordinates work efficiently, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Ensures that equipment works to its specification.
- Creates and carries out test procedures for commissioning jobs.
- Investigates problems, diagnosing/repairing faults and troubleshooting.
- Writes reports and documentation.
- Provides technical support for the department.
- Supervises and ensures subordinates perform repair jobs to owner requirements as defined in the Reference sheets.
- Plans and schedules production within the sphere of his responsibility and authority.
- Controls the use of equipment, ensuring proper documentation and handling.
- Carries out the responsibility for safety and health according to the company’s safety rules and regulations.
- Controls the attendance and discipline of workers under his care.
- Writes service reports and keep Project management informed of the status of work completion.
*Construction of two Storey Six classroom building
-Report to Project Manager
-Ensure Projects are completed according to project plans
-Coordinate with Site Engineers regarding project requirements
-Arrange construction materials required on site
-Respond to any client complaints, concerns or request throughout the project
- Handle Rig systems such as Marine and Drilling.
- Carry out and keep track of proper commissioning documentation.
- In charge of on-site presentation of functionality of the various instrumentation and equipment of an oil rig.
- Ensure piping systems are as per customer’s requirements and assures customer satisfaction.
- Identify and register commissioning punchlist items for resolution and closure.
- Troubleshoot and rectify equipment malfunction.
- Communicate with production personnel to expedite progress and meet delivery and target dates.
- Perform pre-commissioning and commissioning work for Marine systems like engines, compressor, cooling system, fuel oil, bilge, potable and sanitary water, sewage treatment, fire main, deluge, foam, water sprinkler, water mist, Co2, Inergen, etc.
- Perform pre-commissioning and commissioning work for drilling systems like Low pressure mud, high pressure mud, mud process, etc.
- Liaise and coordinate with external parties including vendors, owners and surveyors pertaining to project requirement
- Ensure and enforce Safety within the project and report all near misses or incident to prevent reoccurrence
