II canvass for sellers of small to medium businesses with a view of getting a mandate to sell on behalf of the owner. I then put together ads, and advertise the businesses on various platforms to generate leads. I screen all leads to ensure that “they are willing and able “ for the specific business “ This done through telephonic discussions and the completion of a Non-Disclosure and Disclosure document.
I then forward the qualified prospect all the relevant info. including financials, and arrange a viewing of the business and a meeting with the owner.
I then convert the interested prospects by getting them to complete a Sales agreement/Offer, which is then presented to the seller. I negotiate all the terms and conditions from both the buyer and the seller, and thereby close the deal.
We specialize in Hotel Suite Investment, Fractional ownership and Leisure Clubs. We offer developers of leisure properties a full consulting service; advising them on the most effective package structures, pricing and marketing strategies. This with the primary goal of getting a sales mandate to sell the Hotel Suites, Fractional ownership or Leisure Club Memberships. I set up all marketing stategy, arrange press releases, and advertise through appropriate channels, with a view of generating leads to sell to. I set up appointments and do presentations to prospective investors with the goal of selling to them. I also recruit, train and manage a team of sales consultants to sell the products.

The leisure property industry has been exceptionally slow in the last few years. There have been no new developments. I consequently decided to set up a Business Broking firm, focusing on selling businesses.
I drew up marketing plans, and put together Leisure property packages for a Leisure Developer who had purchased Sani Pass Hotel in the Drakensburg, Dolphin Lodge in Mozambique, and were in the planning stages for a 5* Hotel on a beachfront property they had purchased in Bloubergstrand Cape Town.
I was to recruit and manage a National Sales team, shortly prior to launching our Leisure offerings.
I resigned after 12 months with the company, as none of the proposed projects were ready to launch due to the non-performance of certain majority shareholders.
The company closed down shortly thereafter.
I was re-employed for the launch of Phase 2 of the Sun City vacation club, to do off-site sales. Sales went exceptionally well, and the anticipated sell - out period of 5 years, ended up happening after just over 2 years! The sales team was subsequently retrenched.
I worked as a residential agent, responsible for canvassing, getting mandates, and selling residential properties. I left as I did not find the Residential property industry stimulating enough for me.
I was employed on-site to sell membership into the Vacation Club, which consisted of 4 resorts - Sun City, Wild Coast Sun, Fish River Sun and Ezulwini Sun. The sales team was retrenched when all the stock in phase 1 was sold out!
I managed a Region consisting of 48 bank branches (E.Rand, C.B.D. &Vaal triangle.) I was responsible for recruiting, managing and motivating a team of Financial Planners servicing these outlets. The primary purpose being to offer value-add services to the bank's clients, while adding profits to the bank's bottom line. I took my region from being an underachieving region, to one of the best regions in the country. I managed 3 of the top 10 financial planners in the country.
I resigned after my son of 18 months passed away in a tragic accident.
I was employed as a Financial Planner in the bank's branch network. I excelled, and in my 3rd year was in the top 10 Financial Planners at Nedbank countrywide. I was a regular qualifier on the local and overseas conventions. I focused on retail investments, both local and offshore.
My target market was the small business owners, Company Directors, and professionals - especially the Legal and Medical practitioners.
I was employed on the Agency Management Development Program, which was a 2 year accelerated course running concurrently with my function of recruiting, training and managing a sales team in the long-term insurance industry. I managed a branch of 28 agents before resigning. I took the branch from being the worst performing branch in the region, to the 2nd best producing branch in the region.
I was in charge of sales of non-food
I launched Sales Crew on the 13th of April.
Sales Crew is a unique Networked Referral Marketing Platform.
Sales Crew provides small-medium sized businesses with an effective, yet cost-efficient marketing platform - providing them with “hot leads” for their product or service.
This enables them to increase their sales, and hence profits.
Sales Crew also provides an opportunity for the unemployed to earn an income, and for the employed to supplement their income on a part-time basis.
I recently did a presentation to the C.E.O. of the Randburg, Sandton, Midrand Chamber of Commerce & Industry. (R.C.C.I.) Linda Blackbeard loved the concept, and the fact that Sales Crew will assist businesses, as well as financially-strapped individuals! She has made us an Associate member and will promote us to the other 230 Chambers nationwide, as well as to their SADC counterparts.
