MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Implementation of Quality Assurance Policies, QIP (Quality Improvement Program), Protocols, Procedure and follow up.
Performing routine, diagnostic and specialized procedures in histopathology, Grossing, Tissue Processing, Embedding, Cutting and Staining with manual and automation procedures.
Frozen Sectioning.
Special Stains.
Immunohistochemistry. Manual (ENVISION, LSAB) and automation. (VENTANA BENCH MARK- XT AND ULTRA) series, (BOND MAX, BOND III) and (DAKO Automations).
Enzymehistochemistry. (Myopathies).
Tests comprising Immunofluorescent Techniques. (Renal and Skin Biopsies).
Maintain the Inventory and Different Consumables of the section.
Safety and security policy and procedures follow up.
Preparing for send out different tests, KRAS, EGFR, BRAF, FISH analysis, T and B- cell receptor gene rearrangement, TB PCR, Bacterial and Fungal cultures.
Teach and trained the junior staff, trainees and Medical students.
INTRODUCTION: Being a MOH (General) Certified Laboratory Specialist, I am proudly presenting my expertise in Histopathology section of Clinical Laboratory at King Khalid University Hospital Riyadh KSA. Working with an organization that’s having CAP (College of American Pathologist), CBAHI The Saudi Central Board for Accreditation for Healthcare Institutions and CA (Canadian Accreditation) are enhancing my skills tremendously with great efficacy. The ongoing twelve years of experience to work with such an organization is a great prestige for me.
