•Played a key role in introducing AP, AR, GL, Book keeping and reconciliations concepts in the organization
•Training of project managers and operation teams regard finance, P&L and budgets and making they and understand work as per finance and reporting requirements.
•Ensured all sub ledgers matching with the trial balance at closing period
•Reconciled bank accounts and intercompany accounts on weekly and monthly bases respectively
•Managed the books of a new company in Oracle from zero up to the first-year financial audit
•Automated the preparation of 4 reports using oracle had previously required above 20 hours of effort per month per entity
•Reconciled outstanding “Goods received but not invoiced” in the system which resulted in removal of over 1M QAR expenses from the reports

At Shama Foods
•Executed a cost savings program for review of packing material vendor contracts which resulted in savings worth AED 5, 000/month
•improved the Cost Implemented System (over 400 SKUs) utilizing direct costing which improved COGS and forecasting by 40%
•Updated raw material costing twice a month; spearheaded monthly closing of for prepaid, provisions, depreciation, FOH, admin and S & D overheads
•Supervised AP, reviewed booking of inventory and none inventory related vendors invoices to verify adherence to internal controls

At Emirates Refining Company
•Capitalized assets more than AED 600M; implemented fixed assets management system, project costing of Oracle
•Worked towards reconciliation of bank account with more than 5000 monthly transaction in three different currencies; implemented remittance clearance system in Oracle (Retail Collection)
•Monitored FOH related expenses like fuel, electricity, water, cleaning, waste collection and so on
•Administered payments of three different group companies, included cheque processing for local vendors to TT transfers to overseas vendors
