Flight Operations
- Responsible for coordinating the general functioning and requests within Qatar Aviation Services and liaising with external entities to help facilitate these requests.
- Ensuring systematic monitoring of inbound/outbound flights, passenger operations, apron activities and sending of movement messages.
- Responsible for making sure that coordination with other interfaced entities is done efficiently and professionally for safe and effective delivery of Qatar Aviation Services operations round the clock.
- Responsible for coordinating the resource requirement and vital information with all Qatar Aviation Services landside and airside operational departments
- Ground/Ramp Handling
- Responsible for daily coordination and planning of all company aircrafts operations. Monitor the progress of each flight. Produce daily operational reports
Coordinate & inform for flight plans, monitor weather conditions Ramp operation. Arrangement of aircraft logistical ground handling equipments and transport and fuel.
Other Agencies
- Coordinating with, Apron, Fuelling, Engineering, QR Security, airport authorities, technical department, cargo and catering
- Prioritizing and coordinating requests from customer service, flight operations, charter, and management departments
- The preflight planning, monitoring flight progress and providing the latest available information, which will ensure the safest possible flight operations
Communication
- Flight following of aircraft worldwide, answer telephone calls and disseminating flight information
- Disseminate all requests on VHF made by the Captain of the flight to concerned agencies
- SITA TELEX messages for the movement messages, PSM and so on.
- To disseminate SMS for RR, Weather and other situation to inform concerned authorities.
- Functional Use of ALTEA CM, CITRIX AIMS, OZONE, SITA TELEX
OTP & Delays
- To ensure and monitor for the flights to complete all activities in schedules time. Check on delays and OTP for the daily flights.

Our role includes integrated decision making, performance monitoring and Cost control. The essential role of my job profile includes the resource allocation, discuss with client, airlines and third party agencies in case of any revenue discrepancy and cost minimizations. Reporting any client and developing schedule plan for the client.
Pre-dominantly, Use Enterprise infrastructure and applications which mainly include Airport IT Systems like Universal Flight Information System (UFIS®) Flight Information Display System (FIDS), a Basic Data Processing System, a Resource Management System (RMS), Closed Circuit Television Network (CCTV), , responsible for FIDS using THIN CLIENT with SOLARI, check-in counter/ baggage belt and aircraft bays allocation. Facilitating and coordinating with airlines to achieve On-Time-Performance (OTP) and identify key delay reasons. Providing solution at time for check-in counters access time if required, following fall-back procedures for airline baggage tags.
Prioritize airline special needs while planning allocation such as connecting passengers, aircraft engineering works, aircraft change, and technical flight on ground in order to provide best solution to passengers and airlines.
Issues and troubleshooting of Issues with Coordination of IT and application team:
- Functional role in facilitating IT dept testing for dummy flights and flight data as an ORAT AOCC team.

- Fall back procedure for the check-in baggage
- Ipos and belt display
- Solari for the FIDS for updates and information lapse from UFIS
- VDGS service and accuracy monitoring
Functional role and allocation user for:
Airport IT Systems: IT to Non-IT system covering Airport IT systems like, AODB, FIDS, (CUPPS), and ACS and CCTV, VHF Communication System (AOCC), (TSC). Ensure successful integration to other non-IT System like BHS (SAC), VDGS (GOS) in daily operation
