2.1 Assists in solution planning and deployment activities for PASI
2.2 Ownership and responsibility for critical elements of the global network and its continued automation and scaling.
2.3 Plan, direct and co-ordinate the design, installation and connectivity of the PASI computer and network systems to ensure the stable operation in Head office and Branches.
2.4 Developing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all new technology in networking and communication.
2.5 Review the strategic plans to ensure that network capacity meets existing and future requirements; the role holder will develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and associated training plans along with developing methodologies for testing network performance and providing network performance statistics, reports and contingency plans.
2.6 Responsible for the effectiveness of all servers, their associated operating systems and software; the optimal operation of all network hardware and equipment and the effectiveness of all security solutions (information system security policy, firewalls, anti-virus and intrusion detection systems).
2.7 Conducting research and recommend network products, services, protocols, and standards in support of network procurement and development and negotiate with vendors and contractors.
