I am looking after Knauf Insulation Thermal, acoustic and fire Insulation solutions business for Pakistan. Managing direct customer and distributors for Pakistan. Working on new projects with the support of technical team at the plant of Abu Dhabi.
Meeting with Contractors, Consultants, Architects, Project Managers etc. Providing submittals and registration of our products.
I was managing sales team of 6 team members for Pakistan region. I was working with our principals GE Oil & Gas, Ingersoll Rand Compressors, SPX Flow Technology, Cameron and others for their solutions in Pakistan for Oil & Gas and Energy sector.
► Sales & Marketing
• Implement Sales & Marketing plans for industrial equipment in the Oil & Gas, Fertilizer & Energy sectors
• Present MISL to potential customers through direct communication in face to face meetings, telephone calls and emails
• Manage key accounts for current & new projects (Oil & Gas and Power Sector)
• Pre-qualified MISL as approved vendor at key exploration & production and power generation companies.
• Actively and successfully manage sales processes: lead generation; credentials pitch; asking questions; solution pitch; negotiation; close; handover to the account management team
• Counter check FOR proposals prepared by team for local projects
• Manage and maintain a pipeline and ensure all sales opportunities and leads are up-to-date on Salesforce.com
► Supply Chain
• Recommend cost reduction and process improvement by forecasting required spares and auxiliary equipment for stocking at customer sites
• Oversee complete supply chain lifecycle including procurement planning, placement of orders, pricing bids, specification of terms and conditions, and defining incoterms
• Coordinate logistics and distribution with shipping companies and clearing agents
• Generate performance bonds and bank guarantees, and process payments by wire transfer and letters of credit
• Issue commercial and sales tax invoices
• Supervised sales and marketing activities for MISL’s GE Dresser product range of highly engineered products for the country’s energy infrastructure
• Performed competitive and cost benefit analyses and priced projects
• Prepared FOR proposals for local projects
• Processed import of spare parts from North America, UK, Germany
• Generated contracts that ranged between $10, 000 and $1, 000, 000 each through proposal development and relationship building with client companies
