o CONSTRUCTION MATERIAL WASTE RECYCLING CENTER
The programme being developed as the world’s first sustainable, zero-carbon, zero-waste city, it is of much significance that the waste recycling center be an unique feature of the programme that is committed in collection, storage, processing and then final handling of the construction waste materials.
Hence, the responsibility of the waster recycling center project manager was to initiate projects along with the feasibility, financial study and submit recommendations for the best available option for material wastes generated from the construction projects in the perspective of sustainability objective of MASDAR development programme. The role and responsibility comprises of initiating, scoping, planning, budgeting, directing, executing and monitoring various projects in the perspective of construction waste material recycling center management.
3 projects were successfully initiated and scoped, which are crushing the concrete waste materials to reuse, manage the excavated earth materials in a segregated manner to reuse depending on the material type and management of recycling center including the market research for procuring the material processing equipments.
Played a major role with the Project Manager to lead and manage the team of Engineers to the success of Drainage, Water, Sewerage and Irrigation Networks associated with Road Projects.
Overall coordination of Construction and Office Management with a projectized environment for optimum team performance.
WBS, activity breakdown, cost allocation, progress reporting, activity updating. Developing various tailor made formats for performance reporting, which are made using various techniques like interviews, brainstorming etc... to make it more user friendly and easy to report for the reporting team.
Coordinating with document controls team for establishing document/drawing referencing with respect to the WBS.
Establishing and evaluating various controls, measures and results with respect to the standards set, feedback and recommending corrective actions.
Preparation and monitoring of the project schedule and budgets (Cost and Income) in terms of labour, material, equipment and subcontractor using PRIMAVERA. Assisting the project manager in resource and staff planning with respect to the baseline schedule and budget.
Revising the programmed depending on the approved changes and developing look ahead programme incorporating the approved corrective actions. Preparation and analysis of various tailor made progress reports to suit management requirement which includes CV, SV, CVI, SVI, ETC etc, and advising the project team for course of actions to be taken.
Monitoring the project for expense Vs Income based on the work done and time elapsed on a daily basis.
Assigning and monitoring each responsible site personnel’s target and respective productivity on a daily basis to achieve the scheduled cash flow for the organization.
Planned projects worth more than 3 million manhours along with executing and monitoring approximately 1.5 million manhours worth projects in last 3 years
Supervising, monitoring and coordination of new construction of water tanks and water pipeline networks.
Forecasting, design, planning and budgeting new water distribution pipeline network for Fujairah city. Management of water distribution projects to meet the desired quality within the time and budget. Responsible for approvals of interim and final payments for the contractors.
PRE TENDER STAGE
Estimation and planning of various civil Engineering projects using PRIMAVERA and MS EXCEL. Developing bar charts, critical paths, histograms, cash flow charts, organization breakdown and work breakdown structure for various Civil Engineering Projects.
POST TENDER STAGE
Assigning the responsibilities and deadlines to meet the milestones with respect to the TARGET schedule, starting from the mobilization phase till the completion stage. Monitoring the progress of the projects and reporting to the project manager on delays and developing an action plan to mitigate the delays. Calculation of variances (Costs Variance and Schedule Variance) during the execution stage and budget at completion by EARNED VALUE ANALYSIS. Progress reports comprising of comparisons of ACTUAL Vs PLANNED by PRIMAVERA. Mitigation of delays using project management tools like CRASH ANALYSIS.
Updating the progress chart and calculations of extension of time required in case of variations. Calculation for resource and machineries required for the extra works instructed using PRIMAVERA. Coordination with various project stakeholders for the successful completion of the project within the time and budget.

Submitted a project report on the study of traffic congestion in Ernakulam - India and designed a cloverleaf flyover as a solution. Seminar conducted on Genetic Algorithm. Passed with "A" grade.
