Senior QA-QC Engineer responsible to ensure the smooth and effective functioning of QA-QC Team for following
• Carrying out Quality Induction Training to the key members of project execution team
• Preparation of Technical Material Submittals and obtaining of received material inspections from Engineers.
• Appraisal of project specifications and technical requirements to key personnel of related projects
• Technical advice and guidance to Field Engineers to obtain good quality of end product
• Carry out auditing of suppliers and subcontractors.
• Review, monitor and formulate the satisfactory closure of issue CAR and NCRs.
• Review and expedition of upgrading of approved documents from Code B to Code A
• Formulating the strategy for Handing Over of Close Out Documents without undue delay
• Carrying of Supplier’s Premises Visit and Factory Visits.
Assistant Resident Engineer, responsible for monitoring and implementation of QA-QC and HSE aspects for USD 610 Million Nakilat Ship Repair Yard at Ras Laffan, Qatar comprising of 2 Dry Docks, a Pump House, 2 Ship Repair Quays with Seaward Pier extension each of 800 M length, Floating Dock Moorings, Fire Pumphouse, Substations and Associated Electrical & Mechanical Services executed by Daewoo E & C, Korea.
