Support Services Coordinator
The Institute of Applied Technology delivers vocational education at the secondary and tertiary levels. It
offers higher learning programs in aviation, logistics and nursing. The institute has an overall of twenty
campuses located throughout in the United Arab Emirates and has over 1000s employees of both
administrative and academic nature. I am part of the Directorate based in Abu Dhabi which is composed of
the Support Services Department and Higher Management. In the Directorate, we are responsible to manage
and oversee all non- academic operational needs such as Finance, Human Resources, Procurement, Facilities
and Events management.
As part of my role I have been involved in the following areas:
Procurement & Contracts:
 Recommending activities concerned with contracts for purchase or sale of equipment,
materials, products, or services.
 Creation of commercial evaluation criteria sheet.
 Develop a conflict of interest declaration form as well as map out a process in the case an

I was part of the Talent Acquisition team who is responsible of sourcing, selecting candidates needed to fill the business needs of the company but was also assigned as a “floater”, where I would temporarily cover for any Administrative missing staff.

Talent Acquisition:

As I am tri lingual in English, French and Arabic I was assigned as a coordinator for a project which was taking place in Algeria and overseeing all administration needs such as obtaining the needed local approvals to operate abroad.
