-Prepared and issued infrastructure (utilities & roads) data to investors as per their demand.
-Acted as coordinator/ facilitator between investors/ consultants & Dubai Authorities (RTA, DM, DEWA).

Initiated policy to apply for mitigation plans for roads encroachment.

•Involved as technical coordinator for cross functional project team and reviewed terms of reference, and technical memorandums submitted by the consultant.

•Studied independently the current vehicles emission standards & policies to set new standards for the air pollutants from vehicles. Recommended phased implementation plan for local/ federal authorities approval. “Hybrid Vehicle Project- in house project”
•Conducted comprehensive study with case study for implementation across Dubai. To develop TOD concept t be adopted by developers & Dubai government and inclusion into TOR. Identified planning principle, criteria, requirements, benefits, and proposed for implementation in the Embassies area in Dubai. “Transit Oriented Development - TOD” in house study.
•Prepared the strategy, goals, and actual and operational plan for the section based on the activities, projects, and tasks conducted by the section group team.
•Arranged and coordinated a public activity “workshops” by inviting specialists in the field of Transportation Planning for RTA staff and consultants. Proposed the innovative retrievable Electronically Library for all ongoing or accomplished projects and data collected exclusively for STPD.

•As a coordinator responded in regular bases to Dubai road users’ suggestions & complaints channeled via RTA webpage “Fikrity” System.
•Appointed coordinator for updating projects and committee tracking systems in a monthly base.
•Conducted and analyzed in-house surveys (i.e. Special Needs Survey & Old Vehicles Life Expectancy).
•Involved in different studies such as “Dubai Toll Collection System R900/1”, “Dubai Parking Control System Study R933”, “Tuk Tuk”, and “Limited Driving License Policy”.
•Prepared presentations to Executive Council & Board Committee and for the external stakeholders.

Active Participant in the following projects and team work surveys:
•International Bus Station Project -Dubai: assisted in the International Public Transport project through designing & conducting survey, gathering data & converting it into useful statistics. Involved in the report, prepared methodology & analyzing the extracted statistics to propose Bus station for the PT integrated with the landuse.
•Dubai LRT Project - Dubai: Analyzed traffic at the diversion routes planned for Burjuman LRT station using SIDRA & VISUM 9.3.
•Bahrain Model- Bahrain: updated the model using VISUM 9.3 macro-simulation. Proposed & developed the intersections of different projects using SIDRA & VISUM 9.3.

My Duties included the following:

•Assisted in the “Semester Statistical Directory of the Registration Department” and developing reports.
•Used the Decision Support System of the Logsis System to create statistics related to student registration, course grades and schedules information's in-order to find the weaknesses and the strengthens of the department to improve both.
•Performed all the tasks required for registration (manually & electronically) for the following University of Sharjah Colleges. Assisted in performing all the tasks related to the Graduate Programs.
•Registered students according to their study plan to ensure that they meet the requirements to be graduated from their schools.
•Prepared the transfer applications for the transfer students and changed their college or major according to the rules of each college.
•Followed-up and updated colleges records, rules and regulations.
•Prepared the Final Examination schedules for all courses offered by each college. Entered students’ grades and computed the AGPA & CGPA at the end of each semester. Followed-up the rules and regulations of achieving a Bachelor/ Master Degrees at the University.
•Audited student transcripts, files and study programs since the first batch graduates of Health Science School, Engineering School, and Business & Management School. Performed all the tasks of student admission and responded to the new candidates inquiries and entered the applications in the system.

Involved in multiple project assignments & team work surveys to assist Governmental & Educational Organizations (i.e AUS, Sharjah Town Planning Dept, Sharjah Municipality). Studied and developed appropriate methodologies, collected, analyzed data, recommended solutions for each study.

-Testing the Effect of Transit Signal Priority- Dubai Case Study (Master Final Project): studied and analyzed the impact of the Transit Signal Priority strategy in Al Mussallah/ Al Maktoum corridor in Deira Area. Selected active priority strategy option & the evaluation involving green time extension in favor of public buses versus private vehicles. Different tools were used to investigate the impact of the TSP such as Synchro, VISUM, VISSIM, VisVAP program & Creating *PUA files.

-Dubai World Trade Center (TIS)- Dubai: prepared to upgrade the site intersections.

-Muweileh District Land use Report- Sharjah: Proposed future tourism development land use strategy.

-Shopping Mall & Souks Cluster Map- Dubai: mapped out linkages between suppliers & Exporters.

-WAFI City (TIS) - Dubai: prepared to upgrade accessibilities and site intersections).
