Electrical Project Engineer

I- Account-abilities:
* Taking off material for Low Current and Low voltage Systems including (Fire Alarm, Central Battery System, Lighting System, Power Systems and Security Systems).
* Installing first, second and third fix for Low voltage and Low current Systems, with a small scope of pulling MV cables and Installation of Switch Boards and MCCs inside Electrical Rooms.
* Installing Cable trays and Cable ladders for all Low Voltage and Low current systems for cable pulling, in addition for Bus Duct installation for MV System.
* Checking performance of subcontractors, supervising their engineers on site and guiding them for accurate installation and understanding of Low Voltage and Low Current Systems.
* Attending site walks through with other parties to ensure the coordination and proper installation of third fix devices.
* Coordinating site milestone works to maintain the progress of other parties’ progress of work.
* Ensuring that the work is carried out as per the contracts' specifications and the approved drawings.
* Following up with procurement department the issued MRs for ordered material to ensure the completion of work as per scheduled date.
* Leading Engineering works and dividing work packages for sub-contractors as per the scheduled progress of works.
* Ensuring the installation of electrical works as per approved fixation methods and approved material submittals.
* Managing and coordinating with subcontractors to ensure the completion of all works on time within budget and defined quality standards.
* Monitoring the progress of variation works, advising corrective actions to all responsible parties, and ensuring that the project is on time and within the budget.
* Monitoring sub-contractor's progress of work and tackling any risk which will affect the project completion.
* Planning and managing of material procurement and manpower.
* Ensuring testing and commissioning reports are being submitted to consultants and responsible parties as per scheduled.
* Ensuring all executed works are being executed as per safety rules and procedures.
II- Projects Involvement:
* Internal Security Forces (ISF-Lkhwiya) Barracks - Zone-3 (Duhail-Qatar) (QAR 3, 000, 000, 000)
* CP07-B LUSAIL PLAZA INFRASTRUCTURE, LRT STATION, CAR PARK AND LANDSCAPE, LUSAIL, QATAR (QAR 15, 000, 000, 000)
I- Account-abilities:
* Carrying out regular inspections for material reception and Ensuring all incoming materials are inspected as approved, and stored properly as recommended.
* Checking performance of subcontractors, also studying the design documents to make sure that the subcontractor did not ask for improper cost and time claims.
* Coordinating and attending meetings together with all respective engineers from all parties to discuss inadequate information and early milestone completion of the project.
* Ensuring that the work is carried out as per the contracts' specifications and the approved drawings, and making sure that the work is being coordinated with other disciplines.
* Implementing and maintaining the Inspection and Testing Plan - ITP on site.
* Leading Engineering works and dividing work packages for site engineers.
* Managing and coordinating with subcontractors to ensure completion of all jobs on time within budget and defined quality standards.
* Monitoring the progress of variation works, advising corrective actions to all responsible parties, and ensuring that the project is on time and within the budget.
* Planning and managing of material procurement and manpower.
* Preparing and submitting in collaboration with planning department daily, weekly, monthly reports, and work plans.
* Look-ahead plans to achieve milestones, material submittals, invoices and method statements.
* Taking off quantities, preparing BOQ, and Studying IPS.
* Coordinating testing and commissioning reports with consultants and responsible parties.
