- Power Transformers tendering and designe engineering on Elsewedy Transformers in 10th of Ramadan city
- Department: Technical Office (Power Transformers Design up to 66 KV)
- Responsibilities:
i. Studying the tender specifications and obtain the customer requirements.
ii. Prepare Deviations/Clarification list for hard-to-meet points.
iii. Determining the required steps for the design based on the customer
requirements and according to the standard specifications (IEC).
iv. Carrying out the design calculations, preparing the overall technical offer
(grantee schedules) and the layout of the transformer.
v. Prepare Compliance statements for all related specifications according to
manufacturer’s capabilities.
vi. Designing the required material, selecting the necessary accessories for
the transformer manufacturing, creating the BOM (Bill of Material)
according to updating prices and uploading it into the Oracle data base.
vii. Designing the detailed drawings for the manufacturing purpose.
viii. Revising and confirming the material offers from the suppliers.
ix. Preparing the final technical file including technical specifications,
catalogues, grantee schedules and test certificates.
x. Attending meetings with Customers/Clients to explain product
characteristics and its conformance/performance with project
requirements.
xi. Participate in technical committees for evaluation and adoption of new
suppliers.
xii. Discuss with Quality dept. the testing results and acceptance criteria
related to design & guarantee values.
xiii. Clear all customer comments during TR inspection/testing (punch list)
related to electrical design issues.
Graduation Project : ELECTRIC WORKS FOR A HOUSING AREA A housing ( residential ) area is being constructed in the neighborhood of the 6th of October City . It will be supplied with electric power at 11 KV level . Items: - Study of load characteristic . - Load estimation . - Sizing and location of distribution transformers . - Design of L.V and M.V distribution networks . - Make MCC ( motor control center ) calculations for group of motors . - Design of internal wiring ( branch circuit ) , distribution boards , and risers for all types of buildings . - Indoor and outdoor lighting . - Study , check & acheive the power quality for overall project . - Cost estimation and Bills of Quantities .
