As director of materials, responsible of purchasing, warehouse and project management.
* Also responsible of conducting departmental training, audit and colleagues engagement in
addition to materials audit through operation walk-through to assure functioning, efficiency and
ease of use.

* Achieved HVAC renovation " chillers, boilers, pumps, heat exchanger and electric panels including
all electro mechanics and civil work scopes and contracts of 2 new chillers, 2 new boilers, 20 pumps
different characteristics, 2 instantaneous heaters.
* Achieved laundry heavy equipment renovations including hoke-up and installation including 3
enterprise washers, 1 flat iron, 1 full steam line, 6 valet iron tables, 1 steam room, 2 enterprise dryers
and 2 big dry-clean machines.
* Achieved banquet & catering renovations including 2 ballrooms, 6 meeting rooms, full banquet
kitchen including 4 walk-in fridges and freezers, 30 equipment different types & functions, 1 hood
system, hundreds of trolleys and other kitchen equipment plus catering truck will equipped.
* Achieved main kitchen renovation and specialty restaurants kitchens renovations with more than
80 heavy equipment and hundreds of trolleys and other kitchen equipment and utensils.
* Achieved 18 floors renovation with total number of 520 room including bedding system, carpet,
TV, bathroom, furniture, wall painting and some accessories of room doors and lighting including
corridors.
* Achieved renovation of CCTV system for entire hotel of 780 rooms and 8 gates including car
parking with well-equipped camera room, 1 patrol system, 6 metal gates, 6 luggage scanners with
screen assist.
* Achieved renovation of firefighting system soft and hardware" of 780 rooms, main stores, all
kitchens and archive room with different types of firefighting technologies.
* Achieved opening for 1 specialty Indian restaurant and 1 sushi lounge.

outlets, 3 ballrooms and convention center of 12 meeting rooms, 350 guest rooms, 2 floors car
parking.

for best purchasing practices.
* Lead team of 21 employees in management of all materials functions to include but not limited to
Purchasing, Storeroom and warehousing.

need, sourcing, pricing, contracting, receiving and issuing to departments.

* Provide newest banquet & catering concept in town with latest equipment, A/V equipment,
kitchen equipment and banquet linen, glass, china and tableware.
* Provide new car parking system for new complex.
* Integrate service area to be able to serve new complex with double capacity in terms of number of
guests and colleagues " 1 laundry, 1 staff dining room, 1 uniform room and 1 receiving area"
* Upgrade old team techniques, knowledge, sources of materials to be matching with new brand
requirements and new clientele expectations.

* Responsible for managing, monitoring and controlling all supplies for 35 resorts and 18 Nile
cruses around Egypt.
* Responsible for new openings in terms of pre-opening stock, hiring staff and calculate
consumption.
* Coaching, managing and training 120 team players and rotating them among resorts creating
rooms to grow for everyone.
* Responsible to consolidate supplies through global contracts and restricted distribution & delivery
schedule and avoid 86 syndromes.
Achievements
* Achieving global contracts for more than 90% of F&B, general and daily market list supplies.
* Achieving 15% saving of monthly trade due to consolidating contracts and fright.
* Achieving restricted approved vendor list with fixed prices for more flexibility and competition.
* Achieving with Director of kitchens cooperation to create "Food ingredients book" including
alternatives to work with in all areas and share it with concerned departments.
* Achieving central purchases for engineering equipment, IT equipment and spare parts with saving
up to 30% with better certified products.
