Inventory and operations management:
• Manage/supervise warehouse receiving, picking, order processing, packing, shipping, inbound, outbound, returns and inventory count operations.
• Maintain a inventory control system with regular physical stock counts.
• Reconcile and resolve material discrepancies to achieve stock accuracy.
• Ensure safe storage of inventory through efficient utilization of available storage.
• Ascertain the first in-first out (FIFO and FEFO) movement of stock.
• Ensure optimal inventory levels.
• Minimize the expiry of stock by prioritizing the consumption of near to expiry materials and coordinate with QHSE for the concession of extension upon successful lab test results.
Storage management:
• Update and maintain warehouse storage location system.
• Code and label the products to ensure proper adherence to FEFO and FIFO practices.
• Inspect warehouse facilities, recommend and implement changes in the allocation of space to improve the workflow efficiency.
• Develop procedures and routines to avoid erroneous workflow. Instruct and train staff to safely carry out tasks accurately.
• Periodically audit warehouse layout and location assignments for continuous improvement.
Supply chain and logistics:
• Determine and anticipate consumption trends.
• Monitor reorder levels and place orders as required.
• Ensure no stock out situation by activating contingency plans and arranging alternative use of an available material.
• Minimize the transportation cost by optimizing the utilization of storage capacity of the vehicle (FCL / FTL).
• Schedule required transport in correspondence to the shipment size and transfer raw materials, semi-finished goods, finished goods and drums to the other plants.
• Arrange required documents and organize transport to send finished goods to the customer.
Take appropriate actions on customer returns.
Demand and forecast:
• Forecast demand, ensure availability of raw material and packaging stock prior to the production schedule.
• Monitor stock level of plant including stock at factory, in transit and other sites.
• In coordination with central planning maintain minimum level of required materials.
HSE compliance:
• Ensure compliance to the relevant HSE policies and SOPs.
Report every HSE related incident or near miss to the safety officer and take corrective measures to address the hazard.
• Maintain industry prevailing housekeeping standards (5S) all the times.
Cost management:
• Ensures optimal inventory levels to avoid overstocking.
• Prevent inventory losses due to the expiry or theft.
• Monitor shop floor and customer returns, alert manufacturing engineers about the defect of materials or high rate of return.
• Contribute to the development of the warehouse operational sectional budget and ensure all related activities are carried out in accordance to the approved budget.
Performance management:
• Report monthly KPIs on a set of predetermined indicators by PM and brief at the operations feedback meeting.
• Appraise and recommend employees for the star award for their exceptional contribution.
Staff management and training:
• Allocate shifts and tasks to the staff members, including after-hours and public holidays.
• Assist with the recruitment of any additional or replacement of the staff member.
• Outline yearly objectives, ascertain development, motivation and performance appraisal of the team members to maximize their capabilities, productivity and contributions.
• Provide and induct training on the processes of warehouse, ERP, safety and quality.
ERP system and reports:
• Execute SAP WMS, MM and SD module processes as a super user.
• Diagnose, trouble shoot errors and execute inventory adjustments whenever required.
• Enforce operational procedures including receiving, order processing, picking, packing, shipping, and stock counting functions.
• Prepare report of periodic functional activities of the warehouse and yard.
