• Prepare detailed cost estimation & BOQs for LV switchgear systems including MDB, SMDB,
MCC, PCC, ATS Panels, Synchronization Panels, and Control Panels.
• Review tender documents, SLDs, load schedules, and technical specifications to develop accurate
and competitive bids.
• Perform load calculations, busbar sizing, short-circuit calculation, and thermal derating as per IEC
standards.
• Selection of switchgear components including ACB, MCCB, MCB, MPCB, Contactors, Overload
Relays, CTs, Protection Relays, SPD, and Metering Devices.
• Ensure panel design compliance with IEC 61439, IEC 60947, IP protection classes, and Form of
Separation (Form 2/3/4).
• Technical evaluation of client specifications and consultant requirements.
• Preparation of technical submittals, compliance sheets, and deviation reports.
• Coordinate with design, production, and procurement teams for material costing and engineering
feasibility.
• Vendor price analysis and comparison for major brands such as Schneider, ABB, Siemens, LS, and
Eaton.
• Understanding of fault level, breaking capacity (kA rating), protection coordination, and
discrimination studies.
• Experience in switchgear projects for commercial buildings, industrial facilities, and data center
infrastructure.
• Support sales team in pre-bid meetings, technical clarifications, and client negotiations.
