Preparing final & budgeted financial statements quarterly and other ad-hoc management reports as and when required.
• Reviewing periodical financial results with Group Finance Manager (MIS reports, Audit draft reports, ICV related reports and various Financial Analyses).
• Ensured preparation of financials statements in compliance with accounting standards and in line with scoring requirement of ICV (In-Country value certification).
• Quarterly finalization of VAT return in compliance with VAT law, including imports (RCM) and finalizing VAT 301 form.
• Responsible for detailed report of variance analysis of actual and budget forecast for sales and collection and presenting findings to top level management.
• Managing, planning, directing, and controlling all aspects of accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash control.
• Responsible for Financial reporting of 3 entities with a team of 3 persons for monthly closing, financial reports, payments processes and collections.
• Maintaining regular performance appraisals for subordinates through verbal, written and on-going review programs.
• Maintaining appropriate control of expenses, labor hours, operating costs, and inventory within areas of responsibility.
• Liaison external Auditors in finalizing the audit for Annual audits.
• Responsible for Project Costing & profitability reports. (Job Costing /Project Cost Allocation)
• Responsible for Cash forecast in coordination with management with the help of Accounts payable and receivable aging analysis in order to schedule payments accordingly.
Preparation & presentation of financial statements i.e., P&L, balance sheet and cash flow statement;
Ensuring all close down procedures are complete and that reconciliations & schedules are prepared including accounting for accruals, provisions, allowances and other adjustments;
Preparing management reports including bank consolidation, financial projections, project profitability analysis, age analysis of accounts payable and receivable;
Accounts receivable management by ensuring that receivables are properly and accurately recorded and that they reflect actual receivables and writing off irrecoverable debts, if any;
Accounts payable management by ensuring that payables reflect the true value of trade obligations of the company;
Assist Account Manager in preparation of financial statements
Performing month end tasks like recording of closing entries, accruals, provisions, quantitative reconciliations & control accounts reconciliations;
Accounts payable management, negotiating with suppliers and procurement for best vendor terms and prices and looking for substitute materials and develop new supply sources;
Maintain the inventory control and ensure proper recording as per approved policies and procedures;
Maintain the fixed Assets control system
Preparation of monthly bank reconciliation statement;
Preparing vendor reconciliations to monitor reconciling items;
Keeping track of cash in hand and petty cash management.
